Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport Hotel

Size of room was just right for me. Bed was very comfortable, table& chairs, wi fi, extremely lean, staff were friendly & helpful, quiet, bathroom well stocked,

No jug to fill the coffee machine with water. No plastic cutlery. Card key for slide locks on the bedroom doors don't work really well. I found I was reluctant to leave my room because I might not be able to get back into my room without going down to the front desk.

Beds were clean and comfortable. ROOMS clean, and great shower. Nice lounge chair in room, spacious.

The staff were friendly enough, however, the pop machines did not work properly. I pushed the diet pepsi ( I am diabetic), and got a regular sugar pepsi. Pushed other buttons and, nothing. I lost $4.50. The staff said they could not refund because they are separate vendors. Come on! The ice machine did not work and I had to go down a floor in my pajamas to the floor below to get ice. I noticed their pop machine had a big Out of Order sign. The timing of the snow ploughing was not conducive to my sleep.

On check in the staff was very nice. Even offered us ideas on close by places to go get some groceries. As well as some local spots to go eat. The room was clean and tidy and close to the elevator.

The desk in our room had loose legs, the TV was all loose and floppy, it didn't work with our playstation we bring for movies. When we were checking out we were asked if we were paying for the room with the card we paid with, or if we were using another method. When we tod him we wanted to do a split between cash and debit, he made a rude annoyed laugh.

Wonderful meal in the lounge area. Such friendly ladies working in there. Clean room and quiet.

They don’t take a Visa/Debit and I would have had to pay 200 deposit if I wanted to use it.really an issue in this day and age. I’m assuming it has something to do with Visa itself possibly not paying the hotel to accept the card but I could certainly be wrong. Regardless,it was a negative mark for sure. I found the bed too high for my age.If I had fallen off,I likely would have injured myself.

love the friendly and accomodating staff. The place is just few minutes away from the airport. The room.is clean and quiet and so is the hotel facilities. There is a resto downstairs. Very accessible to malls and some sceneries.

i went in the middle of a cold winter season..-40 degrees...i dont drive so i have to take a cab most of my stay. But maybe walking if its summertime...the place is easy to navigate..with the help of google map...hehehe

It was a really great hotel and a reasonable price. Also the fact that I didn't have to pay in advance was great because I don't always use credit cards and prefer to pay upfront on check-in. The staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast items were very tasty and the customer service was great! The rooms were very clean and modern. This will be my hotel of choice when I visit Winnipeg again. I will tell others to stay here!!

The prices on your snacks and drinks are ridiculously high. A cup of noodles was $4. 50, whereas a bigger cup of noodles at any store is 1. 25 or less. Very disappointed. Same with all other snacks and drinks. Also thrtevwas much confusion with thg he booking of my stay. For example Kamir at your front desk had fixed a mix up the light before with my arival, and had cancelkef an extra booking of a another room. Needless to say I arrived to no booking being made. And I was almost late for court downtown.

The room was great

Remotes didnt work wellThere was a hockey tournament and the pool area/exercise room was filled with kids that were out of control and parents who were sitting at a table on the pool deck drinking alchohal and not supervising these kids at all. I was terrified that one or more of the kids running around the wet deck and throwing exercise bls in the water, would be injured or worse. Also, tv remotes didn't work well

When I arrived I was asked foe a security payment of $50 even though I booked and paid online. When I checked out I was told my payment was declined and I needed to pay $124.84. Today my payment vis booking.com has come.out of my account and I ha e now paid a total of $299.30 for my stay. If this is what is going to happy i am going to not be using booking.com or staying at a Best Western Plus ever again. Regards Gwen.

the coffee in room tasted like the cardboard cup that comes for it. I couldn’t drink it. I didn’t get a breakfast voucher???? $200 for a room and no breakfast???
