Crystal Springs Motel

Was a nice property, it is clean, enough towels, cleaning service every day, it was first floor and close to parking, in the neighborhood there is a big park for kids. We asleep in the check out day, and we went later with no problem. I like the idea with having 2 rooms with door in between, we had some privacy, the property is not very large but not bad.

The main bed was not very comfy was kind of lower on head side, the kids bank beds where very comfy, one night we had a very noisy group upstairs but it is not the motel fault. The floor is cold, need inside shose.

- Conveniently located so it’s accessible from main roads - Suitable to all groups and walks of human lives; there’s veranda tables and chairs, and BBQ for people to lounge in and use - Clean (dusted and vacuumed) rooms - We stayed for 3 nights and were quite impressed by daily emptying of our garbages and replenished with new garbage bags

Before checking out, I took a shower and was constantly fighting for hot water. When I was in the middle of my shower, a loud sound (not a whistling sound but a startling, persistent one) came from the hot faucet. I was alarmed and thought it was a fire drill! I raised my voice and asked my husband if it was a fire drill. He said no. I turned off the hot faucet off and the noise disappeared! It maybe a good idea to get a plumber to look into that — room 23, please and thank you!

The room was totally fine and remarkably quiet. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. It was great having a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. The staff were lovely and the place was very clean. Excellent location.

While not the fault of the motel, Radium is an expensive place to stay in the summer. The room was totally fine and the location excellent, but still expensive for a motel room.

Was easy to find and quiet location. The room was clean and spacious, the fridge was a good size. Especially loved the shower, the rain shower head was wonderful, good water pressure. The girl who checked us in was friendly and helpful giving us options of good places to eat. There was lots of sitting areas to enjoy in the evening outside as well, use of a bbq was also available.

The king bed was a little worn, time for replacement. No USB plug ins.

Appreciated the fridge, microwave. Bed was comfortable and I liked that it had the wood laminate flooring as opposed to carpet. Really appreciated that the hotel accommodated a late arrival. We arrived two hours later than we had planned. Just at office closing time. But management left a key for our room in a lock box. That worked perfectly and was such a relief. Restaurants and convenience store in walking distance.

The motel is within walking distance of all the town has to offer. Plus, big Horn Sheep roam the streets and seem to enjoy the motel's lawn! The room was clean and reasonably comfortable and the parking great.Staff was accessible and friendly.

It's definitely a "vintage" property. There is clearly chipped paint and lack of modern touches. But it met all my needs.

great value cute place rooms were cozy and clean. great amenities in the room good size fridge and had burners a sink microwave and all the dishes you need to make a simple meal. great outdoor spaces and a clothesline for hanging your swimsuit when you get back from the hot springs

parking is tight, especially if there are larger vehicles in the lot. pull out couch was not very comfortable according to my 12 yr old.

Quiet location. Only about a 5 min walk to Main St. restaurants and shops. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. A/C worked great in our second level room despite the high 30+C temperatures during the day.

We would have loved to sit outside on the second level terrace/ group sitting area to admire the view of the mountains but it was blocked off and seemed to be used as a storage for junk. Great space wasted and also an eye sore :(

The motel was very quaint, quite. Staff were nice. Price was good would not have paid more.

Some upgrades had been done to the room but were not completed properly. Example bathroom shower rain wall shower head but had hole behind it still. Water is definitely getting behind there. Towel rack was half falling off the wall.

The Motel is on a very quiet street and is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the brewery. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed albeit small. The AC worked well. Considering we were away from home, we slept pretty well. Considering COVID was still raging, we appreciated being asked how much cleaning we wanted for our room (we chose garbage only each day). The front desk was very prompt in getting us anything we needed such as toilet paper and sugar for tea.

We came back to the room after lunch the day after we arrived to find the power was out. The staff were quick to locate the problem and fix it. The kitchen was missing some things but the front desk again came to the rescue. We missed the free breakfast, but we understand they had to drop it over COVID transmission fears.
