Clarion Pointe

Nice comfy beds and pillows, new decor in lobby. I was glad there was a pool and hot tub.

The gentleman that I first spoke to was not very friendly. He seemed too busy to bother with a lowly customer, but the lady that took over for him was nice. There were some waterstains on the ceiling in the corner of our room, and the toilet ran on. We also had to reconnect the chain on the toilet flush mechanism a few times. The pool lining needs replacing, but all in all, I felt those were minor things considering the amount I paid for the room.

We first were put in a room on the 6th floor but the TV didn't work and the room smelled kind of funny kind of moldy smell but I asked for another room and they gave us a room on the main floor with a bigger TV that worked and the room was wonderful

We enjoyed swimming in the pool but noticed that it could be cleaned a lot better there was build up from the filters coming out and the lining of the pool was not great they definitely need to update the lining of the pool and getting in a little better order

Pleasant staff, good breakfast, very flexible and welcoming stay- pet-friendly, late checkout, etc. close to the airport!

The pool was closed on the only evening we stayed for maintenance without notice, we called the reception, and they said it's open. We came ready with our swimsuits an hour later, and it was closed for the rest of the day. The following day the pool was overcrowded. Be ready to order in- there is nothing around the hotel-no restaurants, shops, etc.

Terrific pool and water slide! It was the main reason why we booked this place. The kids loved it, so we will return on our way back to BC.

We had an issue with the Television. Absolutely no volume. Went to the front desk 3-4 times to get a solution. Finally, the lovely lady just transferred us to a different room with a properly working television. Thanks for that!

This is one of my favourite hotels. It is clean, they have made some beautiful improvements, it has a great pool/ hot tub & breakfast. I love this hotel for it's location and ease of travel when you can park in front of your room. This hotel is very well priced. Keep up the great work. We will keep coming back & telling others what a great hotel the Clarion Pointe, Medicine Hat is.

Staff was great, rooms clean, shower was wonderful. We have been doing a lot of travelling on this trip and this was probably the best place we stayed at. The price was unbelievable, was really expecting a sub par property based on price as compared to prices of other places we have stayed at. Were extremely surprised and pleased.

More signage in hallways for direction to different areas. Was spread out and was confusing trying to get around.

Great breakfast! Much more choices than I expected including hot selections. Ladies in the breakfast rooms are absolute treasures! All staff were courteous and helpful. Very quiet.. Fantastic pool area. Hot tub, super slide, big pool and huge area for seating in the pool room.

A bit if a smell in our rom of possibly cigarette (my daughter thought it was pot) which would be my only complaint

We loved the pool and spent hours having fun. The bed and pillows were very comfortable!

Our back door opened to a wall and smelly area. It wasn’t a big deal though. And the breakfast was a bit of a bummer. We came at 9am and the supply was very low. Some guy wrecked the waffle maker so he spent the whole time scraping it with a fork and complaining. Ah well!

It was wonderful, only issues was the heating/ac system in the room didn't seem to work. This facility has been there a long time and they have kept it up very well. I moved from Medicine Hat in 2005 and it was there in my days. Nice job!

Some items were not really clean. Such as bedside tables were streaky, but nothing major that I would complain about. Could be a disinfectant that needs contact time.

Breakfast was not up to par.

We ate supper at the restaurant, there were only 3 small groups dining. We waited over an hour for soup, poutine and a hotdog. The food came out one dish at a time. Clam chowder was extremely fishy tasting and hot dog was over cooked and hard. We had to go eat elsewhere for food after this disappointing experience.
