The Westley Calgary Downtown, Tapestry Collection By Hilton0

We had just gotten married and stayed at the Westley Calgary Downtown on our last night in Canada. The staff was so kind and helpful! We had to return our camper van and they allowed us to pack up all of our belongings and bring them up to the hotel room and clean up the van out front prior to returning it. The lobby attendants were so kind and attentive! The room was STELLAR. Everything about the hotel was gorgeous and we are so excited to go back! The rooms were SO clean. Room service/dry cleaning was a possibility. There is in hotel dining/cafe. Everything was very central downtown and conveniently located. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Very friendly staff and excellent facility. Loved the room, comfy bed and security setup. Couldn't take advantage of the restaurant, but it looked enticing. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. Loved the underground parking area along with the available bonus of a laundry facility. The location was perfect for a short walk to the city center.

Disappointed that we would have to pay extra for breakfast for the price of the hotel, so we didn't eat on site. Parking was a bit pricey, too, but it was a safe place to park underground.

Don’t think of a Hilton as you know it, this feels more like a boutique NYC hotel. Loved it. Rooms and bathrooms were gorgeous, beds super comfortable, restaurant and bar were great, and all really good value. Aware that these could be intro prices to get people through the door, but what I paid was exceptional for the room.

Parking expensive at $40/night. Our bills were wrong and they had charged the parking to both rooms, but will let that off as teething problems as had just opened!

The Hilton's Westley was beautifully decorated with art prints, attractive mid century influenced seating in the lobby and very large rooms. The bathroom was particularly well designed. We really enjoyed the service and excellent, Mexican inspired food at the Fonda Fora, the restaurant off the lobby.

We would have really appreciated having a good cup of morning coffee available in our room. Instant coffee just doesn't cut it in a hotel that is trying to have a "boutique" vibe.

The staff, especially Linda, gave us a wonderfully warm and helpful welcome - much appreciated. The room was very spacious for a family room (two queen beds) and had a really fabulous and large bathroom with a huge walk in shower. We liked the ice and water dispensers, the comfy beds and the very stylish feel to the hotel. The air con in the room was perfect - kept us comfortable in 33° heat but it was totally unobtrusive unlike some hotels where it is either freezing, noisy or both. We had a really delicious breakfast in the bar - we paid extra for that but it was well worth it. All in all a great stay and I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

No pool. Not the most interesting area.

Great location within walking distance to several cafes, tourist sites, and shops. The staff was extremely friendly throughout my stay, the restaurant in the hotel had amazing food (I'm a bit of a foodie so this was important to me), and the check-in and checkout process was quick and easy.

We scheduled for housekeeping to arrive on certain days, though they failed to show up for either room. We ultimately had to call for new towels with some delivered to one room within 5 minutes, and the others delivered to the 2nd room after close to 45 minutes.

The customer service was top notch and the room and hotel were beautiful. We loved the lobby (did not have a chance to try the bar or restaurant but they were busy and we would have had we had more time!) as well as the room decor. Everything was very clean. The location was great for us, we walked to bars and restaurants and around downtown with ease. Highly recommend.

The staff were very professional. My room fabulous, huge bathroom and great shower. Kettle with tea & coffee, (strangely they only give you paper cups and plastic 'glasses', very environmentally unfriendly and even with covid you can wash cups!) Also a fridge. Comfortable bed. A safe and tv. Good sound insulation. If you want cleaning service you must ask the day before, I like this idea (brought on by covid) although I thought I'd just been forgotten! (Read small sticker on bathroom mirror!) One of the best things was the area, go down to the river Bow, island, and Kensington, these were my favourite places in town a few minutes walk away. Also a block away you can catch a Brewster bus to Banff. Airport to hotel by taxi was 44$ I would come back here.

Breakfast was a disappointment. The restaurant is Mexican so breakfast has a highly mexican flavour. I'd paid for breakfast previously but as my "credit" was 15$ I had to add more money to have a coffee! Not what you expect when you pay for a hotel breakfast in advance. The 2nd day I wanted continental but they only had orange muffins, so I went elsewhere for a delicious breakfast and coffee for 12$!!

Though we only stayed for 1 night, the experience at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. Easy and friendly check in, stylish, clean and comfortable corner room, trendy and tasty restaurant conveniently located. It was the perfect stop over in Calgary for the start of our trip.

The hotel car park was full but street parking was free on the weekend.

Amazing hotel, the interior design is remarkable. The room was super clean, beautifully furnished and the bed sooo comfy. We liked the room so much we really didn't want to leave it at all. Staff down at the restaurant and reception was very nice and helpful. Overall a really pleasant stay, can definitely recommend.

Unrelated to the hotel but after traveling the whole western part of Canada we didn't find a lot of exiting things to visit or do in Calgary
