Location and price.

Some staff was a bit cold/disinterested at times. Change should be available at front desk for washer and dryer. Area outside of elevator B and into parking garage needed cleaning due to leaked and dried liquids (from dragged trash???). This was reported to front desk 10/23 pm and never addressed. This condition existed for entire stay, quite unsightly walking to car each day. No mention about permanently closed restaurant until arrival at hotel. We were notified of pool closure prior to stay but no accomadation besides other hotel pools use if desired. besides these issues, pleasant stay at hotel. Thank you

The location is just outside of the busy part of town, which suits us well. We had our car, so the underground garage was nice and easy to access and leave from. The room was good-sized and comfortable with close proximity to the elevator leading to the pool. The room was well stocked with the typical amenities, including a lovely lemongrass hand soap. The bed was comfy, too. We were on the first floor, so we didn't really have a view, but that was okay because you only have to step outside for those! The pool and hot tub were clean and uncrowded. We enjoyed them both after all our adventures. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There are great dining options nearby, but it was a bit of a bummer to not have a restaurant connected to the hotel.

Free, heated underground parking was nice, room was comfortable and clean. We went in the slower season, so it was quieter than full tourist season. Bed was big and comfortable, and the sitting area was great for watching the hockey games. Jacuzzi tub was built for 2 and the gas fireplace made my trip extra romantic. Large counter was nice for my husband and I to get ready on, and I liked having a separate toilet area with a door.

It was a bit far from the main shopping area of Banff. The transit system stop is right outside, so it's not a deal breaker. Also, and this is not the hotel's fault, the restaurant in the lobby was not running. Luckily, the hotel is under the same umbrella as a few other properties close by, so finding breakfast in the am was easy, and there was free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

The location was good. Additionally the hotel provided us with free bus passes to be used to go to Banff downtown. The parking is difficult to get at downtown & it costs hourly CAD 5. So getting free bus passes for full 4 days for my entire family & friends group was great!

For drinking water we were told to use the same water we were getting in the wash basin i.e. basically tap water. There was not water fountain or water dispenser. We had to fill bottles by going to gym everytime as there was a water filter in the gym.

Nice big room Location pretty good

Not the best view - room overlooking the roof of the front entrance. Bit of an eyesore but could see the mountains in the background. The rooms need updating, especially the bathroom. The paint was all peeling away near the showerhead and was pretty unsightly. For the high cost of the room, this is not acceptable at all. There was also no clock by the bed which is unusual. It would have been nice to have a bar or something at the hotel.

The pool and hottub are very large, well-maintained and in a nice atmosphere, positive suprise. Rooms are a little old but OK, ours was spacious and with a pretty silent A/C.

Some bathrooms are not renovated, others are. We had a not-renovated one which meant poor lightning and a poor shower experience. The walk into town is aprrox. 20 minutes alongside a boring street. The parking garage is too small for large SUV's, so you need to park at the street at the back of the hotel (which is free anyway).

Rooms were comfortable and good size. Free parking very convenient.

I booked two rooms which I assumed would be together but when I checked in was told it wasn’t possible and they were on complete opposite sides of the floor which was a bit disappointing. It’s a little further out of town but still an easy walk in, and given it has free parking this was a compromise we were willing to make :) a little expensive for what it was but that’s Banff!

The room was quiet and clean. We had a window looking out onto Banff Ave which was very nice. I wish the restaurant/bar had been open. We really enjoyed that we were able to use the Roam Transit for free throughout our stay and we also loved that we could rent DVDs from the Front Desk for free throughout our stay as well. The Front Desk staff was very knowledgeable about nearby attractions and activities. The laundry facilities were great as well.

We just loved it here. We stayed in a deluxe King on the 3rd Floor - the room had a balcony with views to the park next door with a peek to the mountains. We’ve never stayed in a quieter room. It was quiet and dark, we slept amazingly well. Bed was very comfortable, we had a refrigerator in the room and coffee maker. Bathroom was a bit small, but bathtub was wonderful. We walked to local restaurants and could have walked to downtown Banff or taken the shuttle bus. Fantastic location being very close to the highway and downtown. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool - great to have a dip after a long day of hiking.

Maid service still does not come every day, but if you ask for towels, they will be brought remarkably quick. A bit slow to take used towels in the hallway. On-site Restaurant seemed to be closed whenever we tried to dine - hours were not posted anywhere. Pool floor is in need of replacement but we enjoyed our swim anyway.

The large room. Quiet and nice view with balcony. Very close to the pool as requested. Friendly and knowledgeable front staff. Nice pool and hot tub. Cozy lobby with water and coffee. Great underground parking. Close elevators. Love the soap products. Nice location with walk to downtown plus local transport tickets made exploring Banff very easy! Will definitely be back!

I think they missed vacuuming the floor of your room as there was some large debris there when we checked in. Otherwise room was very clean!
