Hotel Albert II Oostende

- around 12:30 I just dropped by the reception to leave my bag and they checked me in, even in a double room because it was available at that time. i'm very pleased. - the hotel is on the same street with the ensor house (2 min walk away). 3 min walk away is the promenade. again, on the other direction 2 min away the main square. 10 min walk away from the train station. wifi was working great, breakfast was great, the room (bed, cleanness, stillness, temperature, large windows) was very comfortable.

nothing.. may be one very tiny thing :-) : there could be racks for the towels in the bathroom.

Staff are always friendly and the hotel is dog friendly too.

This was a perfect budget hotel. Room was spotlessly clean, friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast, well stocked. The location is superb - next to the square and shops/restaurants and a 5 min walk to the seafront.

Rooms are basic - no hairdryer or kettle but for the price - who cares. There were hot and cold drinks machines in the reception area.

Was the second time in the Albert II. And the 5th time in Ostend in the last two years. Without any extra charge or announcement, we were offered a special room this time, which provided comfort and closeness to life in all respects (view to the sea - and the street). Super mattress, great TV variety and large desk included. Best place!!! And the fact that the chatter from the lift has also been stopped is a positive note.

The water pressure in the shower leaves a lot to be desired. However, this is also the only reason for complaint. Well, the "fitness terrace" would also be a reason to complain. But somehow it also has "style" and fits Ostend like a glove. For those who like it, simply beautiful.

The room was practical but not that clean. Breakfast was enough but sometimes too much People in the crowdy space. Location was near the beach and other facilities. We could leave our luggage after checkout until train departure.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but understaffed. Especially at checkout times. Location of the reception at first floor.

I was told they had a deal regarding car parking, oh great I thought, having done some serious miles that week I was happy to park the car for four nights for a reasonable cost. When we were leaving I asked what the process was regarding paying for the car park. Apparently I should have been given something to get the cheaper parking but it was overlooked so had to pay full price.

Location is perfect, it's at the main street and 2 minutes from the beach. There was a problem at our bathroom but the receptionist repaired it immediately. The restaurant is lovely.

The WiFi is unusable and the walls of the room are very thin.

Right in the centre so easy access to the beach and most things in Ostend all in walking distance too. Good selection at breakfast too. Easy walk to and from Station

Was bitten by I think mosquitos should there be anti mosquito plugs in rooms ?

location was amzing but the information service was not accurate as we need parking for pour car and it was stated in oyr booking but the actual was not like this, parking was closed and we kept searching for about houres for the park lpocation and at the end it was closed, alteast someone soposed tell us this info.
