The staff is excellent, and they always take very good care of me. Location right in the heart of the center, with easy access to everything. While they no longer have a working kitchen, food is available within minutes of walking. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Not a bad spot for a quick night or a couple of weeks.

The internet connection is quite terrible and has been this way for years. In some cases, it's just a lack of wifi coverage. In peak days (max occupancy), it is clearly a bandwidth problem. I would happily pay for a better connection.

Location for evening was great Lovely big room with desk and chairs, kettle.qnd nice shower. Nice staff and great idea in reducing room cleaning service to offer a drink instead (there 2 nights) Breakfast was good.selectiin and what I had was very nice (fruit, yoghurt, pastries) they had hot food but I didn't have any.

I had a room over a street with a bar or bars As this is a student City it started peaceful but as the night progressed Street noise was intense at least until 4am! Thankfully I had ear plugs but they are distracting so I didn't sleep well but I would still reccomend this hotel - just get better ear plugs! My colleague was at the opposite end of the hotel and had a peaceful room.

Spacious and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is great with a lot of choices from hot food (eggs, bacon, etc.) to different kinds of cereals, pastries and cheese. The atmosphere of the hotel is nice too with your reception being also a bar serving drinks. Also very central location in Leuven (though that can be also a bit noisy in the night.)

Wifi is usually ok though had problems with it a few times.

Perfectly situated in the centre of Leuven within walking distance of everything. The hotel is pretty cool with a great bar and pool table. We stayed in a suite which was spacious and clean with a fridge, a revolving tv and some lovely toiletries. Very pleased

The lad behind the bar wasn’t particularly nice on our first night when I asked for a cocktail from their menu. He said they didn’t do cocktails at night which was odd for a bar. He was pretty abrupt so we didn’t stay for another drink. This was cancelled out somewhat by a really lovely lad who was behind the bar early in the morning when I came down for a btl of water. He was super friendly for 6am and offered coffee which was a godsend

All requests were met with immediate resolve and the staff attentive and always around at any time of day or night to help facilitate my requests. The breakfast set up was so easy, coffee was hot and expertly made with a smile, that means a lot in a new city.

The room itself had some issues. My a/c unit leaked a large amount of water onto the carpet and soaked some clothes. The room was beautiful and just what I needed, but had a sour/sewage/mildew smell that I believe was coming from the refrigerator and previous a/c leaks. On one occasion I overheard a staff member lamenting that a potential customer thought the price was too high and made the comment "well don't book here if you can't afford it". He as correct, but that conversation probably shouldn't have happened on the floor so others could hear.

Pentahotel is centrally located in Leuven and is close to many bars and restaurants. The breakfast was great and the staff was helpful and friendly.

My only real complaint is that there is little to no sound proofing to prevent noise coming from the street below into the room. There is a bar close to the hotel and I could hear the conversations coming from there even though I was on the top floor. The was little difference in the intensity of the noise whether or not I had the window open, so this tells me that there is a "leak" somewhere in the room that is letting the noise (and likely the outside air) into the room. I hope that the hotel looks into this.

It is conveniently located near the City Hall Hall Hall for both sightseeing and work. The room is on the top floor, so the view is good. Facilities are a bit old, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. There is a copy store right outside the room, which was very helpful. The restaurants are all good.

The lighting swich was somewhat confusing. However, I asked an employee and she was kind enough to help me out.

Location wise this hotel is very central and surrounded by a variety of cafe's and restaurants. We walked from the station and it was about a 10-15 min walk We were upgraded to a "junior suite" for free on arrival as the hotel was full - this was a good size with very comfy beds. There was a full sized fridge in the room which was a bit of an overkill (and quite noisy). There was a kettle with coffee and tea which we found by fluke as it was in one of the cupboards instead of being out on the surface. Good selection of food for breakfast, the normal continental offerings with some hot options as well.

A couple of things that could have been better - I had received an email the day before my stay offering me breakfast for €15 a person/night and to accept this offer I had to click through on the hotel website, I did this but when I asked about it at checkin the member of staff didn't seem to know anything about it and said that they didn't do emails like that. After a while it was sorted by another member of staff but wasn't a great welcome. - On the second night we decided to try and get food in the hotel restaurant (about 9pm), they had stopped doing food by then, despite saying they served food till 10.30pm. Ended up with a bag of crisps each!

Very nice hotel right in the center of Leuven. Very easy walk to lots and lots of restaurants, but quiet around the hotel. Good quality small gym onsite. Good pressure and hot shower. Provided drink vouchers to skip some housekeeping nights to save resources, which was a really nice touch! We were in the area for Rock Werchter and commute to the festival area from here (walk to the train station and then ride shuttles to the festival) was very easy and we got a great night's rest.

Location was perfect, although we were unlucky about the parking because there was an event and we had to move the car by 10am and pay an additional 24€ at a private parking as well as paying the hotel parking. The bar is open all night and the billiard table is fun.

Price was very high plus the parking - which was not reduced even when we were forced to move the car early because of an event in town.
