Park Inn by Radisson Leuven

The hotel is located by the railway station, with easy access to the sights of Leuven. There was no noise from the station. We stayed in a standard twin room, on a room only basis. The room was of a reasonable size and the shower was excellent. A kettle was provided. Beds were comfortable, if a little on the small side. Staff were very helpful, speaking multiple languages. Good value for what was on offer.

The aircon was not really effective. Granted, outside temps were c. 30°, but the room was not properly cooled and there was no option to open a window. Our beds only had one pillow each, so we asked for extras, which were provided. General note to hotels - if I book a twin room, it means I don't want to be in the same bed as my travelling companion. This room, along with many others I've stayed in, had about a 1 inch gap between the beds, with very little scope to separate them further due to the fixed bedside tables. Twin beds should mean fully separate beds, with space to stretch out without risk of touching the person next to you.

The location was great! Nice and quiet but only a short walk to cafes shops and restaurants. Also right beside the train station, which was very convenient for our trips to Brussels,Brugge and Ghent. Staff were friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. There was a good choice at breakfast, more so if you were not vegan or vegetarian. There was your usually cooked breakfast but no hot vegan options. Plenty pastries , variety of fruit cereal and yogurt.fruit juice, and hot drinks.

Although breakfast had a varied selection i felt it was a bit expensive for what we ate. One day i didnt feel great so slept in therefore missed our breakfast that day. We paid for breakfast when booking the holiday so lost around €38 for that day. In future will pay breakfast on a daily basis. Air conditioning didnt really do a lot but luckily temperatures outside werent that high.

The hotel itself was good great position. Room was well soundproofed even though it was near the railway station. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Staff were friendly. Good air conditioning.

The day before I went I realized I had only booked for one and my wife was going with me. I tried to contact via Booking.com by message then phone and was told to send an email. they confirmed my wife would be added. On arrival at hotel I explained what happened and was the price would be over 40% more. The receptionist agreed to reduce the increase to 20%. If I cancelled and re-booked through booking.com I would have got it for another 10% cheaper. I know I made a mistake and then I tried the human way rather than using the system and it cost me.

Breakfast was excellent and provided good choices. Very friendly and helpful staff at breakfast restaurant. The hotel location is good and the acess to the main railway station is a bonus (direct lift from station platform to walkway adjacent to hotel). Hotel is within easy walking distance to Leuven main centre. Proximity to Leuven train station provides opportunity to experience visits to other Belgian cities.

The evening restaurant has limited gluten free options and in general the staff were limited in knowledge of gf products. The stock of whiskey in particular in the bar is very limited but nevertheless a pleasant spot for a tipple before bed.

Location in modern building right beside the train station was good. About 20 minutes walk through the very pleasant streets of Leuven to get to the famous Oude Markt square. Room was comfortable and simple. Front desk staff were very helpful with information, booking taxis, bringing towels, etc. Layout of bar and lobby was good - casual and modern.

One of the days our room was not made up - we slept late but expected them to come back later as they were still working on nearby rooms when we left and the room was empty from 10:30-2:30. The toilet and sink/shower were in two separate small ensuite rooms, seemed a bit strange! The location is good and convenient, but not in the thick of things and not as characterful as the lovely city centre.

Nice and comfortable beds and quiet room offered a good restful sleep. The shower is spacious and offers a nice experience. The room deign is not necessary my cup of taste but it is nice and you feel welcomed! The staff in the hotel was really friendly, willing to help and hospital! We pend 3 nights and everything from check-in to check-out went just smoothly! Thank you for that! The breakfast was good quality with some good variety to satisfy everyone. Maybe not the most inspiring buffet but for sure satisfying. The quality of the food and drinks offered was really good!

Excellent location right beside the train station and 15 minute work from the city center or 5 minutes from the main bus terminal. Really nice room, great shower and friendly staff at the bar and reception

The shower room and toilet were separate which is OK, but i would have preferred them together. There was no wardrobe, which was weird and you had to hang your clothes on display. I didn't like this, especially for someone staying for more than a night or two.

Stayed here when attending the Belgian F1 Grand Prix (Spa Grand Prix) although it’s 1hr 30 mins away from the track, this hotel is located right next to the train station where you can take a train to Verviers-Central and from there a Grand Prix Shuttle bus takes you to the track. It was much cheaper to stay in Leuven than Spa and the very accessible public transport made the round trips each day a breeze. The staff and cleanliness in the hotel were excellent.

The shower and sink were in a separate room to the toilet.

Everything was just perfect! staff in the hotel is extra friendly and helpful (always smiling). Room was clean as should be. Location is really good if you plan to travel with use of trains...hotel is close to trainstation but you dont hear them at all. What I really liked is how rooms are soundproof ! I did not hear other guests talking in rooms nearby. I do reccomend to purchase breakfast in the hotel, there are plenty of options to choose from, everything is fresh and tasty. Higly reccomend staying here :) Paweł

Nothing to complain about.

Location great beside the train station. Room fine - separate WC. Shower and washbasin are together. Clean. Breakfast was fine. Kettle, tea and coffee in room. Less than 2 minutes walk to railway platforms and buses. About 10minutes walk to Tante Maris ice cream, or 15 minutes walk ( or a bus) into Leuven, where t' Galetje had long queues for waffles and ice cream. Leuven has many beautiful buildings. A lovely place to walk around in the evenings.
