Sandyport Beach Resort

Location is very gorgeous. This is also very safe. Really like the cleanliness of the place as it's accessibility. Staff was very courteous.

Beach is not on site and is a short walk away. Not clear what are the amenities that are part of the resort and what is not. For example, there is a small coffee shop for breakfast at a short walk distance but you are outside of the resort in itself.

We were slightly unsure what to expect from the resort due to a range of reviews we saw when we booked. We were hugely pleasantly surprised!! What a beautiful spot for the resort, relaxing and quiet and exactly the right feel for the bahamas. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a small suite which had everything we needed but it could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived.

If you are looking for a place to vacate and don’t really need to or want to do all the “touristy” things or want the “hype” of everything near Paradise Island- EVERYTHING about this property was excellent! Rooms are a welcome retreat after a day out, always something interesting happening in the inlet - my room was right on the beach - completely awesome- and the staff were OUTSTANDING!! I never got the name of the maintenance person who made sure my remotes were working and came back the next day to bring a replacement with batteries; then from beginning to end TAJ our bellman (huge kind smile and always ready to assist - even on his break), IAN the taxi driver assigned by the hotel (on time - every time very knowledgeable) and the AMAZING and ALWAYS happy LEANNE who ensured that everyone at the hotel was having a FAB time - but she made my vacation the very BEST experience - I felt super special as a result of her gigantic gift of hospitality. Because of them, I will always stay here when visit and I will be there again soon! Quite honestly, all the staff at this resort were by far the most consistently hospitable people I have ever met in my travels. I highly recommend this resort if you’re going to Nassau!

Hard to say but… there is no room service or a resort shop (not a deal breaker) - and although there are lots of restaurants around the resort and a food delivery service, if it’s raining, late in the evening or coming in from a long day, it would be nice just to put a food order on my room tab.

Very peaceful and relaxing resort with a selection of beaches and swimming pools. Nice little bar by the beach, and several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Sounds from neighbor rooms were clearly heard. The thickness of the walls could be better!

Sandyport resort met our expectations for a relaxing vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Alex was exceptional!!! He welcomed us on our 1st day and was always willing to assist with recommendations for restaurants, activities. He was very kind and attentive. Pam & Arthur always greeted us with a great smile and they were very helpful also. We were welcomed and taken to our suite by a wonderful young gent. He was great by being very helpful during our stay anytime he saw us. The resort was very comfortable and we liked having the beach within walking distance. We loved having access to the grocery store trip. The suite was very spacious with double sinks in the master suite. The bed was very comfortable and closet/storage space was great. We enjoyed our 1st floor patio. Having 2 bathrooms & 2 tv's were a plus. There were enough appliances, small & large, to use and prepare meals on days when we stayed on the resort. The "lookout" view was phenomenal at anytime of the day. We would definitely stay at Sandyport again & highly recommend it. Thank you for making our stay very memorable.

There were not as many restaurants on site and we had to taxi to places for a variety. At times, we could hear our neighbors upstairs. Some modern upgrades would be nice like outlets near the bed and a larger screen tv.

Beach was nice, not very busy, and easily accessible, the resort grounds were nice and covid testing site was easy to get to.

Not many restaurants or things to do close by; we had to travel to do most things on the island (and taxis were absurdly expensive!).

The location is beautiful and central so you can enjoy the best of the city and the outskirts of Nassau. We used the jitney to get around it was easy but just know after 6.pm you will need a taxi. The grocery, some restaurants and covid testing lab were walking distance from the resort. Lady Sara the guest services manager was soooo helpful in guiding us on activities and cost effective ways of getting around. The facility was clean and so beautiful. Even if you did nothing else on the island the resort itself is an experience. We highly recommend this resort. Also the sandy toes excursion to Rose Island was exceptional (additional cost but worth it ask Lady Sara). Highly recommend twisted lime and twin brothers for your lunch or dinner needs. We made breakfast as it's not included but the resort provided everything we needed pots, stove, utensils etc for us to transform our groceries into food. Sandyport was AWESOME we were on our Honeymoon and we are from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹

Be careful in the bathtub it's slippery and the wifi isn't the fastest.

Location was great, staff were very helpful, easy access to a nice beach, reasonably priced compared to other resorts, couple of restaurants nearby

Rooms/fixtures are a little dated, bathroom wasn't draining properly. It's also a little 'far' from Nassau city (in case you want to the fish fry etc) - the distance isn't super long but taxi prices are quite high, roundtrip will cost $60.00 - $80.00 each time depending on your driver, bear that in mind if you plan on exploring. My partner had to work some of the time and the WiFi was very spotty, another FYI in case you're taking a working vacation.

Unpretentious but immaculate, extraordinary views from low rise bahama cottages of white sand, calm turquoise lagoons, canals, and pools with fun private beach bar with scratch tropical drinks, cold beer, panini and other foods and special events that make meeting other guests relaxed and fun. Plenty of loungers and private hammocks. Its what you see in the pics but so much better! Chill professional staff, total serenity and security, anything you need or want five minute walk away, including a marina, many shops, pharmacy, bank, watercraft rentals, four very good restaurants, one serving a semi-private snorkel beach. We’ve traveled great islands, and 30 minutes from Miami, this can’t be beat for families and couples wanting a serene, joyful waterside experience without loud crowds and faux celebrity amenities. Rooms larger than most and can be joined very pretty, not worn, comfortable with very good amenities. Ice, laundry nearby. We loved #712 with a large patio three steps down to the sand, hammock, and lagoon, 6 palms to the pool bar. Really great front desk and concierge. Every staff we met was polite, immaculately dressed, genuinely happy with their job, unobtrusive, and eager to share the serenity and beauty of their end of the island. Don’t go here to party hardy, go to Nassau. Go here to chill and return home very relaxed with a smile on your face.

Honestly, nothing. Sometimes all items weren’t restocked in the room, but were easy to call for and somehow, the housekeeper knew when we left without a door tag or knocking, and we slept in very late. Much appreciated! Breakfast at lobby outstanding. Bar food excellent if limited. C Bass the bartender creates a circle of fun and good humor, and really really good drinks! This property is extremely well secured and patrolled without you even noticing.
