Healesville Hotel

The king room was superb and so comfy. Great spaces and a view to the street. No noise although we were left ear plugs just in case. The bathrooms are superb. Especially the double shower one. Loved it. Lovely liquid soaps and shampoos in the bathroom plus plenty of clean towels and floor mats.

The walk to the bathroom was a little ‘creaky’ in the middle of the night so I was afraid of annoying people as I crept by. The walk was down one long and one short corridor so select a room closer to the bathrooms if you need to use one urgently. Mmm… not sure about paying a Sunday surcharge for a glass of wine in the hotel bar …food I understand… but $5plus on top of $26 for the 2 glasses I felt was a bit dear, unless this is the normal Victorian thing in every bar?!?

Fantastic location in an historic hotel. Beautiful room and very clean, well appointed shared bathroom facilities. Loved that they haven't tried to modernise the room too much given it's circa 1890's or so, but it has everything you need for a short stay.

It was unfortunate that the main hotel wasn't open for meals or drinks over the Christmas break.....but most likely this is due to the post covid staffing issues.

Fabulous location and beautiful decor surprises like gorgeous art work, cushions and Dindi products to take this beautiful old hotel into a different league. The share bathrooms were not an issue; spotlessly clean with fresh white towels and pampering products. There is communal access to comfy couches on the upstairs balcony that overlooks the heart of the town through a canopy of trees. This hotel oozes character & charm!

We self checked in on a Monday afternoon, which was easy. However, we went out later in the day and returned after dark to an unlit entrance and no internal lights were on. After climbing the staircase in total darkness, we had to use our phones to search for a light switch in the corridor...a little unwelcoming & strange for a hotel. However, this was truly the only negative.

Clean and comfortable in an excellent location. Value for money!

Other guests were quite noisy, might be worth putting up signs in the hallway to keep the noise levels to a minimum. Eg not yell from one side of the hallway to the other and sing

Instructions were clear and fri badly for self check in. the room was spacious with a lovely high ceiling. Really nice details, great styling, nice lighting and loved the little basin and mirror. Everything was so comfy and convenient! I thought it might be an issue sharing a bathroom but I didn’t even notice it. The bathrooms were clean and plenty of them!

The hotel is in a great location. We had a king room which was very spacious. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We chose the shared bathroom, having stayed a few years earlier we knew that the bathrooms were clean and well equipped and that was exactly the case. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room could have been improved with a small table to sit at - there was plenty of room for another piece of furniture

The location was right in the middle of Healsville and easy walking distance to shops and eating places. Parking available at the hotel and the meals, service and drinks were great. The accommodation was very comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities were very clean and spacious. Would thoroughly recommend.

Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and well located. Staff were very helpful. Highly recommend.

A little noisy in the evening but the noise settled by 10 ish. The noise is to be expected as it is after all a hotel! Earplugs available if needed. Would not put me off staying again.

Location was excellent and having access after hours was easy, Carparking was available on site. Having a later checkout as part of the overall booking was great. Rooms were spacious with really comfortable bedding.

It was a little noisy but hotel had supplied ear plugs:) Otherwise nothing.
