The Chancellor on Currie

Will definitely stay again. Location was wonderful. Passages clean and bright paintwork. The fire was welcome - the ground floor has such a lovely, intimate feel almost like a guest house. Staff at restaurant were friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the French vibe. Umbrellas from ceiling a lovely touch of whimsy. Pool was too cold to use but appreciated the spa. Parking system was easy. Surprised to find the laundry - thoughtful space. Thrilled to see our old friend Ronald Adam's prints on the walls. We'll be back! Well done. Will happily recommend to friends and family and take up the romance package!

Only cold water of pool!

Room was everything I needed. Location was great, short walk to the tram, which takes you either to the Entertainment Centre or down to Glenelg on the beach. Walking distance to the Adelaide Mall and North Terrace where all the Museums are. The cafe onsite was great especially convenient for breakfast.

We got the King room and upgraded on arrival to King spa room at our expense, Spa was a worthwhile upgrade. Location was excellent, a minutes walk to Rundle Mall and Hindley St with the iconic 24hr Pancake Kitchen just down the lane.

Bed was a little soft on initial feel but still slept ok.

the staff are exceptional! Very friendly and provide wonderful customer service. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The TV was a good size and was a smart TV that was easy to use. Great room for business travel.

there aren't enough hangers for you clothes. however, more were supplied after I asked.

Location: rundle mall shopping, hindley street dining and nightlife plus tram or bus free public transport are right on your doorstep. Customer service: the reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the room service was quick for dinner and punctual with the breakfast service also. Room: my executive suite i booked was the perfect size for harmony between the different rooms in the suite. I especially loved relaxing in the 2 seater sofa in the lounge area. Food: Both the breakfast and dinner options for in room dining were exceptional with a great selection of French inspired food. Mini bar had a good mix of interesting drinks and a vast selection of teas or coffee options. Coffee pod machine also for an early morning wake up followed by a decadent latte with the breakfast service. Random Highlights: The In room phone next to the bed also had a USB port to charge your iPhone. Opening my curtains to see a bustling urban city centre looking at Currie street while I sip my morning coffee.

This hotel has the perfect location close to Upark topham mall and currie street bus services head in all directions. I’ve dined at the in house restaurant before but my stay was a Sunday night so I found multiple dinner and lunch options all within a short walk from the hotel. The interior has a retro feel to it and the color scheme is very regal. Enjoy a spacious room and ensuite and an excellent king bed all very comfortable indeed. The Tv is equiped with all the streaming apps and you can also chrome cast to it from Your device. The size of the fridge allowed me to put my lunch for the next day inside and the selection of minibar drinks was ample. The red armchair is super cosy for watching tv or reading and the overall noise level was minimal. Good selection of teas and coffee options.

No Sunday restaurant for in room dining as mentioned there are places very close to the hotel and there is also Uber eats you could get to reception. During my stay I found two female reception staff were friendly and helpful but the male staff member at check in was not so friendly I was having trouble with the pin for my deposit and I was given a lecture about when I Might need to know my pin which then made it harder to remember my pin as I was frustrated. This was my second stay within a few weeks so I’d expect a return customer to be show a little more respect.

Great central location with bus stops at the doorstep. The interior of this hotel is great and it has a bit of a throw back feel to it with the color schemes in the rooms. The television size was great and the arm chair was comfortable for watching a movie with snacks from the minibar. The elevator was classic and a nice touch I felt like it chilled me out as I went back to my suite. I really enjoyed a dinner at the in house restaurant Maison clement an elegant setting and a French or French inspired menu which caters the breakfast also so you can pick a tasty French breakfast via room service. I’ll be back for sure.

the remote was a bit of fun trying to login to my streaming service account but ended up chrome casting it.

this accommodation has both old world charm and the best of modern facilities. The location is excellent, the staff are very professional and the room was spacious, clean, comfortable and elegant. The restaurant was also wonderful.

Only negative was our window looked straight into the opposite building, would have been nice to see more.

The location is perfect for central CBD ease of walking around, accessing Rundle Mall, enjoying the night-life, and accessing public transport. The room was made up by housekeeping each day. Our room was top floor, so was relatively quiet given closeness of some bars.

The pool is small and was fairly cold for an indoor pool. But the pool/spa open hours were extensive. The bed was a bit too soft for my liking. The parking is offsite, however is only a short walk from the hotel, but the car park spaces are very narrow.
