Very friendly and accommodating staff. Let me delay check out for as long as possible so that I could attend meetings. Car parking was available and extremely convenient. Will absolutely stay there again.

Read a couple of reviews about the current state of affairs at this hotel - they were less than flattering to say the least. My stay was the complete opposite, couldn’t fault the place for the money. People writing negative reviews either must be able to consistently get 5 star rooms for 3 star prices, or are a bunch of snowflakes!

Breakfast is served out of a paper bag. You can takeaway or eat in. Was sufficient.

Was a bit dated. The corridors reminded me of the ‘Shining’ kept expecting to see a couple of ghosts on trikes.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The beds were heaven on earth, so comfortable and high so I could get in and out pain free (Arthritis). The location to anything at Adelaide Oval is the best, or even a trip to the Casino or just a shopping spree in the city. I stay here a fair bit due to the Hotels location and friendly staff. I spoke to the staff quite a few times and every time they were accommodating and understanding. Love this place.

The aircon system is like that on a cruise ship, or even a hospital, it does the whole hotel and is not individual room orientated. You can turn the fan up and down, but on the hottest day in Adelaide in forever and being two 'older' ladies... we did despair thinking we'd have a sleepless night.... But I asked the staff for a fan and they saved the day... Great Staff at this place. The carpark under the Hotel is a little squishy, and I'd rather my partner tackle it, but he wasn't with me and I got into a park eventually.. I even considered going to reception and asking if I could utilise their overflow carpark instead... but being too lazy, I persevered with the help of my friend and we succeeded... YAY!

Location was absolutely amazing, we were able to walk anywhere in the city. Loved that there was a car park available under the building which you only have to pay $20 extra to have for 24/hours. The hotel room was very cozy had everything we needed for a 1 night stay :) there was plenty of room around the bed with a mini fridge and tv available to use. The bathroom was everything we needed again with plenty of space.

The shower in the bathroom also serves as a bath so you stand in the bath to have a shower and personally I’m not a fan of this as you have to step over the bath wall to get into the shower. Also me and my friend are pretty hot sleepers and it got really warm in the room at night and we couldn’t find any controller for air conditioning.

A comfortable, quiet hotel with very helpful staff. Front desk Staff were professionally friendly and always helpful. . I use a Walker mobility aid and all areas were accessible to my needs . My request for a chair for support in the bathroom was instantly attended to and the Staff member, David, who brought the chair to my room assisted me with questions re the Television and drinking water. The staff member with breakfast helped me by carrying my hot coffee to my table. As an older woman travelling on my own I appreciated their respectful help.

Room was way bigger than thought, lots of space, storage and sitting places. Nice bathroom with big mirror. Mini fridge. Big, comfortable beds. Seemed to be staffed 24/7. Vending machines were convenient with great basic choices. After certain time entrance was key card only which made us feel completely safe coming back late at night. Very easy checkout, only took literally 1 minute. Amazing location, walking distance to popular city locations (sky city, train station, hindley street, rundle mall). Overall amazing value for a pretty affordable price.

Huge hotel so room was quite a walk from lifts, although know next time to note this as request. One of the elevators out of order but didn't cause much issue. No power points from what we could see next to the beds so could only charge phones in corner of room or bathroom. Room lighting was very dim but just used the three lamps to brighten up the room, same with bathroom lighting which made it a little difficult to do makeup properly.

The room was a great size for a family. The rooms were very quiet and the bathroom a good size. The location of the Grosvenor is good for the inner city and those wanting the night life.

It would have been great to have a microwave in the room, but I guess I can understand why they don't. We did have troubles parking as our car (with a roof pod) could not fit into the carpark, which meant a 10 minute walk to the car. This made it very difficult with a family for unloading and loading. The hotel is very old, but I guess that adds charm. The price was very good, so the rest can be overlooked.

The location was perfect. We attended a dance competition at the convention centre which was so convenient. Close to tram, train and malls. We found it nice and quiet too, lots of privacy. Reception staff is frjendly, always smiling when we walk through the doors. Cleaning staff are also friendly and they do a good job.

The carpets are quite old. The bathroom was small for 4 people. The fridge kept freezing our food and drinks. No pool or gym facilities.

The hotel is situated centrally with the tram nearby. Parking is rather tight and with a car parked behind me I wouldn’t have been able to get out of my space if there had been cars parked in front as well. The bed was comfortable, pillows were dreadful and could do with options. The aircon could do with being in a remote as it’s too cold and then without it’s too warm. The staff are excellent and really helpful.
