Novena Palms Motel

The staff were fabulous, so helpful and accommodating. Loved how clean absolutely everything was. Really enjoyed having a fridge, toaster and microwave oven in the room and some plates etc. The swimming pool was very clean and fresh looking, immaculately kept. Laundry on site with washing line was excellent. Enjoyed having a balcony with outdoor setting to use to sit outdoors. Nice and quiet day and night, we got good nights sleep here. Local food shops etc were close by, and plenty of food delivery choises on Uber Eats, who delivered with no problem. This motel is exceptionally good value for money and we had a very comfortable and happy stay here!

Nothing could have been better in my opinion

Very clear instructions on how to obtain the room key as I arrived after 10.00pm. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. Room very clean. Toiletries was in plentiful supply as were tea and coffee.

I had asked for some drinks to be left in the fridge but this was not done and there was no jug of water in the fridge for cold water. There also was no sweeteners to go with coffee/ tea for diabetics. When I booked the accomodation a ground floor room was advertised so I did not specify that I wanted a ground floor room as I have issues with climbing up stairs and I got an upstairs room, but that was my fault for not specifying what I needed.

Room was spacious, clean and well organised. I was only short distance in cab from airport. It was very easy to get cab each way. Though there is a shuttle service. Our flight times we super late arrival and super early again leaving so we unable to utilise their service this time.

I was lucky from ground floor apartment because my suitcase was heavy and a 1st level room could have been tricky for me to lug my bag up the stairs... However, it was late and dark when I arrived so perhaps there was alternative arrangement to stairs. It's not 'not to like'. But, worth asking about if you're traveling with oversize luggage ;)

The lady who greeted me was fantastic! She was very welcoming and friendly. She greeted me at the door as she could see I was carrying bags. I was made aware of checkout times, where I could eat, and even offered times for the shuttle bus. She was super.

I wouldn't say there was anything that stood out as a dislike. There were quite a few mosquitoes in my room (but it's Australia! Haha) It didn't exactly cause me any problems. I got rid of them and made sure doors were shut. Job done.

for the price paid I expected a near perfect room however there were unfinished things in the room (Bathroom shirting)and the curtain rail was hanging out of the roof. The toilet paper was not great - perfect if you wanted to scratch but not great for a comfortable wipe! also not great shower gel/shampoo and conditioner. milk serve was enough for one coffee each would have been great to have enough for two cups!

I loved the convenience of the location close to the airport and they offer a free shuttle bus .Which i am so grateful for my daughter was returning back to Ares rock for work and had to check in at 7.15am ,to the airport and they got her there in the shuttle from the place at 6.15 Free !, and i could say my goodbyes and return back to bed hassle free .Very clean .Parking is directly in front of your room .Highly recommended and beautiful welcoming staff. The cleaners are on point .Thank you for out short stop over .

it was close to the airport and an easy drive to and from terminal. The staff was obliging when I needed to arrive after hours. The unit was clean, comfortable and secure.

I was a little put off by the written instructions displayed around the room (not in, say, a compendium). it reminded me of being in a primary school classroom.

Clean / great shower / the planes were not a nuisance / had our towels etc changed every second day /laundry facility cheap to operate. Michelle so considerate.

Toilet paper too thin / fridge a little small but adequate as a motel should be. Pillows a little sad.

Location to Brisbane airport was fantastic and the main reason for choosing this motel. Loved the little private patio at the rear. Room was standard, clean and cimfortable. Shower was hot with good pressure. Beds were clean and comfortable. A pleasant place to stay. Ample parking.

Convenient to the airport. We were arriving late in the evening so I rang the motel and asked if they could put so beer in the fridge for me and they were more than obliging.
