Airport Ascot Motel

Love the easy system they have if you check in late with very clear instructions to get to your room The staff was nice and friendly The room was big enough for 2 adults and a child beautifully equipped with everything you need free wifi that actually works flat screen TV with foxtel a small fridge and freezer nice jug cold fresh water on arrival also Coffee Tea sugar kettle Cups plates bowls cutlery Bathroom very clean with free standing shower and some nice little soaps shampoo conditioner and lotions Smelt fresh and clean throughout the whole room had air-conditioning Only 14 min from airport Has a little smoking room for the smokers Was quiet Plenty shops around walking distance for food and shopping Fully recommended

No complaints to be had

The room was excellent, great shower/bathroom, the proximity to the airport. Tea and coffee in the room, iron and ironing board in the wardrobe, and a lovely neighbourhood. And especially the cordiality of Wayne, always answering promptly and being so kind when I got there, giving me information about the area. He also gave me an extra hour to check out. Also, I got there at midnight, and it was so easy to get the key in the safe and get in. You should definitely stay there! :)

About the hotel, nothing negative to say at all. I just think the price could be lower, though it's one of the best options around. It's a pity that hotels close to the airport as a whole end up charging a lot because of the convenience... if the price was lower it would be absolutely perfect :) having said that, it's the best option if you're looking for a hotel close to the airport and in a very nice neighborhood!

Very clean was near a few places to eat. Room was actually really good and shower yeah so small to only fit on person but it had a better shower head than mine at home. Tv had all built in apps so i can login to my netflix etc.

The view well it was a deserted motel next door that looked derlict. Dont go on the balcony to have a view like that it made my partner very uncomfortable. The lights at time flickered giving us a headache could be a faulty card we just turned them off not that fussed.

From the moment the door opened the smell was beautiful. Fresh and clean. The lift was the same and the floor we stayed on was impeccably clean and smelt fresh too. room had everything in it we needed. I have never stayed anywhere and had 16 teabags supplied and heaps of coffee. When leaving I spoke to the male staff member on duty regarding the welfare of another resident there and he was wonderful to deal with. Very attentive and accommodating.

I think the mattress may be due an update or mattress topper. The kettle won't fit under the vanity tap so I had to use the shower head. Whilst this was no trouble at all it may be an OH&S issue if someone tries to top up a kettle that has some boiling water still in it.

Booked months in advance but didn't have to pay for it until a few days before arriving. Fantastic communication with the manager Wayne between booking and after staying. Rooms were really lovely, clean, relaxing, had EVERYTHING we needed, air conditioned, sound proof (couldn't hear any other patrons or traffic), even had a safe to put our valuables in if needed, ample tea coffee sugar satchels, nice size UHT Milk, even provided shampoo conditioner body wash and soap, so close to Eat St North shore and the city, free parking, Taxi Butler Service (pushed button and taxi arrived in 1min). Wonderful experience and will definitely stay again.

The location, it was close to supermarkets, restaurants, bottle shops and cafes and the City Cat terminal was a short walk away at Brett’s Wharf.

The ceiling vent door and vent filter in our room had fallen in and it had been fixed with sticky tape. We reapplied the tape but it fell again. So we used electrical tape and that worked! Our safe battery was dead. Our son’s safe was locked and their original room’s bathroom had no light. I think some maintenance is required here, but other than that is was fine.

Great location for the airport and to have the button that you press in reception so a taxi will come is excellent. We had an early flight and a taxi turned up within 10 minutes to pick us up. Excellent service.

Only thing is last time we stayed there we came home from the airport very late and had no park allocated so had to ring the manager which we hated disturbing him. We had to park up against the wall without blocking the cleaners room and made it difficult for others who had to back out. I think each room should have an allocated parking bay as others seem to have 2 cars which makes it hard with early or late flights with no parking to come back to and no parking close by.

Very comfortable and nice room, large bathroom. Desk for work and additional small table to have lunch or dinner. Plenty of space for cloths. Free 24/7 laundry facilities. Easy after hours key handover. Daily fill up of shower gel, tea & coffee facilities. Take into consideration that this hotel is closer to the airport, but further away from CBD than other hotels (walk approx. 8 min to Bretts wharf, the bus is 25 min, ferry 1 hour)

Great location, value for money. Room was quite modern and clean enough, spacious enough for 3 of us to not be in each others pockets.

The parking situation is a little difficult as there isn't an allocated park for each room, and less parks then there are rooms. Showers are tiny and the showerhead doesn't tilt/adjust so you cant stand outside the shower and adjust the temperature as it shoots water out onto the floor. Carpets felt wet and sticky like they had been mopped?

No one on reception. Kettle didn’t fit under tap in bathroom so I had to fill using the cup Noise from other guests running up and down corridor at 6.30am in a ‘soundproofed’ area - could also hear the planes from the airport, so soundproofing doesn’t work Limited parking spaces so if we weren’t lucky enough to get a space, not sure where we would have parked
