Argus Apartments Darwin

1) they helped to change a queen bed into two full beds at my request during booking. 2)cleaning service in the middle of our stay (we stayed for 7 days) 3) front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. 4) all basic needs are provided: including salt and pepper, laundry detergent, dish washer detergent, etc, even gave us small packets of milk.

There was a very loud party going on above our apartment for the consecutive two nights during our stay. The party started before midnight and lasted until 5-6am in the morning. All of us are not light sleepers but were still affected. We complained to the front desk at 12:30am on the 2nd night. but despite the front desk staff talked to them twice that night, the party still went on. I just wish the property would be able to stop or prevent this from happening according to the property rules.

Apartment was huge and immaculate with everything you could possibly wish for. I travelled with my husband and an adult son. We had 2 huge bedrooms and 2 exceptional separate bathrooms/toilets for a fraction of what other apartments were charging. Nothing was ever too much trouble for staff who were all friendly, helpful and hand excellent english. Absolutely no noise from other apartments. Stunning pool below the apartments which was perfect for us in October when the sun was beating down and temperatures were in the mid 30's, so we were safe from burning rays of sun and lovely barbeque area was conveniently located right next to pool. Staff provided all the utensils, oil, sauces, etc for use when cooking. Beautiful mural painted on side of building. Excellent price and close location to everything in the city, including tons of restaurants, cafes and bars, totally sold us.

We didn't like having to leave after a most wonderful 7 night stay at Argus Apartments. Wish we had known how cheap and reliable Ubers were around Darwin as we never would have hired a car even though there was parking under the apartments for $9 a night.

Our flight out was not until after midnight on the day of check out. We were able to store our bags and then use the guest lounge facilities to hang out, have showers and generally freshen up before our flight. This was really greatly appreciated. Amazingly comfortable way to fill in a few hours before our flight.

It was a massive place and I don't envy the person whose job it is to clean it but I feel like the place could use a proper clean - move some furniture slightly and there was a thick build up of dust and food scraps etc.

Great location friendly staff central to many things. The apartment was very spacious and seperate bathrooms.The pool area is very clean and well presented and there was also a BBQ area as well

We stayed at the penthouse. Beautiful layout great views from the ninth floor. The only thing that I didn't like was how uncomfortable the bed was to sleep in as I was there for six nights. Also the apartment that I stayed could do with new couches in the kitchen area. They were uncomfortable to sit on.

Friendly staff, great price, didn’t expect the place to be so big but I was very happy! Enough room for me to have my friends over for dinner. Pool was excellent, nice and shady. Great amenities! Apartment was regularly clean and super central location. Easy to walk to anywhere :) had a great stay, Thankyou!

Probably my only fault is the parking, we paid but then there wasn’t any spaces left in the visitor parking.

Location was great, easy walking distance to the mall, restaurants shops and galleries. The apartment was wonderfully spacious, spotless, well appointed, and quiet. Beds were really comfortable. A small maintenance issue which occurred was dealt with promptly and effectively. Staff were courteous and efficient. The gym was the best appointed and most spacious I have experienced in a hotel gym - equipment was maintained and all in working order.

We liked everything about the place. The apartment (44) was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great view of the harbour, as requested, however now that we have seen the layout, next time we will try to get a West facing apartment to take best advantage of those great Darwin sunsets.

A small criticism, the hot water temperature in the shower, basin and kitchen sink was barely above luke warm.

There was no breakfast

That you didn't know that there was no breakfast. Staff didn't know that you could smoke on the balcony's. Staff didn't know anything about buses. We found a bus time table on the notice board 4m from the reception desk later. I didn't feel like the staff knew much about the hotel and surroundings in general, though they were always pleasant and smiling. Probably need som training. Only saw the welcome booklet on day 3. It was a black folder inside a black tv cabinet. Might be nice to have this on the kitchen bench top on arrival so that this can answer some of our questions. Kindest of regards Claire Bland

Apartment was very spacious had a beautiful view was spotless and staff were ver friendly. Location was great the comfort of both air conditioning and ceiling fans was superb. We had 2 bathrooms so one each! Liked everything it had a washing machine and dryer and even provided laundry powder. Although we didn’t use those facilities it was noticed. Great place to stay and would return at future opportunity.

I couldn’t get switch in second bathroom to change the bath into the shower option but enjoyed bath anyway.

Very clean property close to everything with secure underground parking. Bed was very comfortable and unit quite spacious. Best part is location as its less than 5 minutes walk to marina. I would go back in Argus again.

They can provide extra some dishes and pans in the kitchen but all in all very nice. Few bottles of water on arrivel would also be nice additopn. Not much I can complain about.
