Nightcap at Pritchards Hotel

Rooms were great and clean, only two nights of my 14 night stay room wasn’t cleaned.. didn’t look like you’d expect it to look like it did once inside, the renovation did wonders. also the staff at reception especially Vivienne was excellent to deal with. Handy 7/11 and Bonnerig nearby some eateries within walking distance. There’s plenty of free parking, safe with cctv too.

There was one housekeeping woman that shouted through the door on my last day if I had extended time with reception (I did night before) would have been good if communication from reception was given to housekeeping to avoid me holding the door at 5past 10 in the morning. Laundry services coin dispense upgrade needed took $2 coins when asked for $1 and only gave 10mins spin time when should have been 20mins. Upgrade vending machine and snack stock didn’t use but looks gruesome.

How Clean the rooms were as well as the Beautiful Aroma when entering the main hallway to get to your rooms. Our room was cleaned daily, fresh towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner along with our beds being remade and garbage bags being emptied. The beds are like Sleeping on clouds, extremely comfortable. Loved the ease of walking downstairs to have dinner which was Absolutely Beautiful as well as a Great Variety of choices for adults and children and not expensive. Will definitely be staying again..

The renovations were great! The rooms looked nice and were clean. The daily cleaning, free water, comfortable pillows and aroma was great. Loved the free parking out front.

The blinds need to be bigger to cover the windows properly. The blinds have so much sunlight coming in, in the morning and they don’t cover the full window width. The bed was listed as ‘king bed’ definitely was only a double or queen and wasn’t all that comfortable.

I liked that the room was always cleaned, the sheets were changed with new ones and the staff were nice. It’s a rarely new renovated place, there was always a nice smell when walking back into our room. It was close to other things such as 7-11 for quick items and the petrol station. The restaurant next door was affordable with around $14 meals for steak and chicken schnitzel.

One of our complimentary water bottles were already empty, you can hear other customers walking through the walkway and the curtains don’t fully cover the light out when sleeping.

most of the food was fantastic, they undercooked my pasta on the last night. I wish there was more room inside for dining. one of the bar staff was really rude to my husband. (a certain part of the hotel was closed and she could have spoken to him politely to leave that area instead of being rude)

I stay in a lot of hotels and motels and this is the best value for money I have come across. Parking out back for my large truck and a very well priced feed downstairs. $18 for T Bone and Veg 👍🏻 Comfortable bed with renovated bathroom. I could not fault anything hence the 10/10.

If I could find anything wrong. Slightly wider curtains to completely block light. But did the job ok.

We really liked how new the room was, it still had that fresh paint kind of smell but not overpowering. Checking in was pretty easy we just had to find the check in booth amongst the bars and bistro etc. Checking out was much easier, just putting the keys in the box provided at the door.

The bathroom could of been a little bit bigger. Not really much to not like for us as the room was in the right area for a good price and so on.

The room was very well decorated and the beds were comfy. Overall happy with our stay. It had everything we needed, including extra blankets, ironing board and iron, shampoo and conditioner etc.

There was a bad smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. Our room was right above the exit door that slams every time someone walks through.

location was great , the staff was lovely always smiling and very helpful.

only thing I didn’t like was that you had to wait till 10am for the office / pub to open to check out and receive the $200 security deposit back . Not really something convenient for most who have to check out early due to work commitments ect. this is my only bad review during my family stay .

Excellent service and great little hidden gem! Rooms were spacious and facilities all clean. Great value for money not far from the wedding we were attending. Handy pub and bar downstairs as well as 7/11 next door and other food places. Great service thank you!
