Quays Hotel

Definitely one of the nicest motels I have ever stayed in! Better than expected. Exceptionally clean and modern room, and very big. Clearly recently renovated. They did a great job. The Wifi worked well. The king bed we had was very comfortable, and soft. The pillows were nice as well. We slept great. We only stayed one night but would have been completely comfortable here for multiple nights. Lovely staff as well.

The only thing we did not like is that the shower has no door, just a half wall, so water splashes out a bit onto the floor near the sink. But a floor towel is provided so it's not a big deal.

It was spacious. The air conditioning worked well. On the waterfront but not noisy A separate toilet is nice. The bathroom was lovely and everything looked like it had recently been upgraded in terms of tiling. It had a great coffee machine.

We would have liked a small microwave and some kitchen equipment, as we always travel with our own Muesli and get tired of eating out on a long road trip. I dislike mini bars as you have to fill out so many forms when you arrive. They fill up the fridge and we never use them but I guess some people do. I guess that's why it is called a hotel but it is really a motel.

Clean, well maintained room, comfortable bed, nicely furnished, plenty of space. Newly renovated bathroom. Staff were friendly, helpful & prompt. Good value for money especially for the holiday period. Short walk to the marina and seafood restaurant. Short drive to shops, Soldiers Club and beaches.

Bathroom sink too high and set back far on vanity making it hard to use (for a 5ft person). I felt like a little kid trying to clean my teeth at the sink...haha. Other than that the room was great!

Rob was excellent. Very kind and helpful. He even stayed for us past his usual working time since we were few minutes late travelling from the Illawarra Clean and spacious room for a reasonable price.

It was a bit noisy especially early morning -- when other guests were leaving early -- the stairs made a lot of noise or maybe the guest stomping. Night time, the curtains/ shades didn't make the room darker. Felt the light was coming through.

Clean, hygienic, and helpful employees

I didn't carefully read the terms until I realized that they didn't provide slippers, toothpaste, and washing machines. However, the employees helped us, and Coles was very close to this hotel. We quickly went to Coles to buy everything we needed. The lighting in the room is a bit dim at night, the Wi Fi speed is a bit slow, there is no door in the bathroom, and water may splash out, but these are all minor issues.

Excellent location - walking distance to the town centre and clubs. The marina is directly opposite - including JJs at the Marina (seafood restaurant). The room we stayed in was a two-room suite. It was tastefully refurbished, spacious, and well appointed. The shower was hot and there was plenty of pressure. Nice touches included the extra pillows and the well stocked and reasonably priced mini bar.

Can't think of a single thing I didn't like.

Clean and modern room filled with natural light. Beds were comfortable and suited our family needs. We loved having the Nespresso machine in the room as it just made it that touch easier in the morning. Staff very friendly and helpful which made the stay great!

Room not dark enough to sleep in, outside lights on all night so it was hard to stay asleep. Maybe some blackout curtains would help for rooms stay darker at night?

The room is clean, bed is comfortable and pillows as well. Hayden and Adam from the reception are very well organised, we've been informed what to do as we are arriving and checking-in late. The hotel is very convenient to shops, restaurants, clubs, fast foods and beaches. We'll come back to stay in this hotel again.

Room- clean and convenient for a person. Bed- was firms mattress as I requested...had a goodnight sleep

I actually was expecting to see a microwave in the room as well, especially for 1 night stay some people buy precooked food and would like to heat it up and just go to bed for a good rest since its a hassle looking for a restaurant and eating out. If that could be taken into consideration please

Rob was incredibly friendly and kind. My son spilt his drink on the bed and we offered to pay for laundering. He was really kind, changed the sheets immediately, wouldn't let us pay. I travel a lot for business and rarely get the same level of warmth with motel managers/staff etc. The rooms were also really clean, well appointed and modern. The TV had You Tube, netflix, etc. We loved that. The free Wifi actually worked :-)

Our room didn't have a bath tub. But I guess I could have booked that. I didn't specify on the reservation.
