Corrigans Cove

Spacious, clean, and comfortable with a washing machine and tumble dryer if needed. Cooking facilities were more than adequate with a microwave and two burner ceramic hob. The bathroom was fresh and spacious, with a spa bath.

We were on the ground floor at the very front of the complex. It faced onto a main road so although landscaped it wasn’t pleasant using the seating area outside our room. One thing maybe the hotel should consider is putting a hand rail on the bathroom wall to make getting out after a shower easier which is over the bath. For older people this would have a safety benefit as the spa bath is very high sided. A minor point for consideration.

Great location. Clean rooms & grounds. Inviting pool area. Restaurant looked nice & refurbed & inviting. Would be lovely in peak summer season.

The restaurant sign said open for breakfast at 8am yet at 7.55am there were no staff prepping in the kitchen or around to ask when it would be open & we were on a schedule to get to a funeral so had to go back into town to get breakfast. The restaurant looked lovely so we we’re disappointed we didn’t get to visit it. The night prior was Asian night & only had 3-4 options for meals so again we went into town. I’m not sure if this is a seasonal factor.

Bit concerned when we got to the room 112. Bottom floor, end of complex, close to two main road intersections and traffic lights but with the door shut we heard nothing so were very happy. Staff were very friendly and had time for quick chats and service at restaurant was top. Meals good value for money and the $25 meal deals included a house wine or beer. Great view and a two minute drive to the main shopping area which was stupendous and something unexpected. Thanks. Will be back for longer in summer but better book now.

Had no complaints what so ever

We booked the two bedroom apartment for my daughter and two grandchildren. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are open plan and very spacious. The beds are comfortable. There is a large balcony which is great but it didn't have a roof so wasn't practical in wet weather or in the heat. The kids loved the streaming channels and games on the TV. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The pool is clean and a nice space to hang out. Location is great. The resort is opposite Corrigans Beach and walking distance to Batehaven shops which has an IGA, cafes, chemist, bottle shop and newsagent. We loved the apartment.

There could be more cooking items such as microwave bowls and a chopping board in the kitchen. There is a Convection oven but no instructions on how to use it. That would be a big help. The bathroom is on the small side but is adequate. A roof over the balcony would be a plus.

I had a studio which is above the apartments. It is very compact but had a comfortable bed, a microwave, TV and a reasonable size balcony. The bathroom was quite large and had a great shower. The pool area is lovely and clean. You can get a drink from the bar while you are relaxing around the pool. The report is located opposite Corrigans Beach and walking distance to Batehaven shops. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, particularly the $10 value breakfast. The studio is great but possibly not for a long stay due to the size, however my family had a two bedroom apartment which is where I went to have meals and relax with the family. So it was ideal for me. A great resort in the Bay

A roof on the balcony would make a big difference so it can be utilised in all weather. My studio was up multiple flights of stairs which may not suit everyone. The owner, Andrew was lovely and took my suitcase upstairs which I appreciated.

Our apartment was clean. Two excellent air conditioners. Swimming pool was very clean & well maintained, plenty of umbrellas and pool furniture. Grounds are well maintained. Staff were helpful & pleasant.

Our unit was clean, however a thorough cleaning of skirting boards etc could be done more often. Discarded cigarette left near patio from last occupant. A little short on tea ( only given two teabags), small amount of washing up detergent & washing powder for the dishwasher ( was not enough). One very small piece of soap to share between the shower & basin. No sharp knife, needed more crockery if using the dishwasher. It gave me the impression that the hotel was trying to save money on these things. This is definitely not the way of a 4 1/2 star resort.

The perfect hotel that meets my long-standing expectations. It has a terrace and swimming pool close to the sea. Although you can't see the sea on the terrace, you can feel the scent of the sea and hear the cries of seagulls lying in bed in the evening. Birds even swim in the pool

The front desk is closed at night, making it difficult to find the entrance and exit. The lady at the front desk said she would help me find a usable washing machine, but she didn't call me afterwards. I don't have a washing machine or dryer available

Rooms were good size & clean & comfortable. Good location.

Restaurant & Bar/Reception could stay open longer, especially on a Friday & Saturday night. A games room for kids would be good as there is really nothing for the kids to do except to have a swim & eat. I did request that upon our arrival there would be some kind of surprise in our room for my wifes 60th birthday when booking the room, flowers, a bottle of wine, something, however that request didn't happen - we booked 4 rooms for family & friends.

Corrigan’s Cove unit was a comfortable modern space with pleasant decor. It contained a well equipped kitchen as part of the living area with a large table. The sofa was modern and comfortable with coffee table, lamp and good TV. A comfortable bed , bedside tables, wardrobe. Both a/c and ceiling fans for the warmer weather. A spacious bathroom with separate toilet, and laundry. A sunny outside patio overlooking a very inviting pool . There is an onsite dining area ( which we didnt need) . Location central to all that Batesman’s Bay has to offer and easily accessible.

there is parking but it is open and some distance from some of the units. Not an issue for younger people

The location was great. The staff were friendly, the grounds were nicely landscaped.

Some of the outside lights near the stairs didn't work. It was very hard for my aged mum to see when she was going up and down the stairs at night. Our toilet door lock was broken, i mentioned this to staff when we checked out. There wasn't a cover over the exhaust in the shower and when you looked up it looked like it had white mould in it. There was only two toilets off the dinning room and we attended a wedding with 85 people. Some of the steps and small walls around the grounds needed black and yellow tape/painting so you could see the level changes, particularly at night.
