Cresta Lodge Harare

Set in its own well maintained gardens on the edge of the city. Relaxed space great for meetings. Comfortable well maintained rooms and charming helpful staff. Fantastic breakfasts and good evening restaurant and staff really make one's stay enjoyable. Great helpful local taxi service to and from airport and town if needed.

They rarely have any cash change in the coffee shop so you need an advance card credit. Reception also struggles with change due to limitations of US dollar. You cannot buy airtime for a cell phone on the premises and its a journey to find some!

The location of Cresta Lodge was in a prime commuting area. The hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean, with great facilities in the rooms and around the hotel itself; pools, a cafe and restaurant are all located in the hotel, with a very efficient check-in and out process.

The room we stayed in was susceptible to noise from other guests coming from both the hallway and the outside. We also found the adjacent resteraunt to be a little over-priced (approx £25 per head) for a small buffet option excluding drinks.

The staff where very friendly and professional. 99.99% of staff would definitely great you with a smile. Very warm welcome-keep it up please.

One lady who serving dinner/ supper yesterday was not enjoying her job and she made that clear even to customers. She was very serious and did not answered questions with one word answers-not impressed considering she was serving food.

The Cresta Lodge is my go to stay in Harare. It is comfortable, the facilities are good. I’m a frequent visitor.

The location is far from town so one is reliant on eating there which can get expensive. It is getting tired and could do with some regular upgrading. But these are minor compared to a great place to stay

Unfortunately, i missed all the breakfast due but the Dinner was perfect. The place is well located and clean. The only issue i had was that the room had plenty mosquitoes, but the hotel did not provide the mosquito repellent or doom hence we had to rush to the shops otherwise a good place to visit.

Apart from Mosquitoes no issues.

We had booked a family room via Booking.com, but the hotel had received instructions for one room. The staff were very helpful and managed to organise rooms to suit our family requirements, inclusive of breakfast for the kids. It's easy to travel into town and surrounding areas from the lodge. The pool was a bonus for the kids

The location very convenient and outside town, where its not busy and away from the busy roads.

The Room card keys was such an issue, everytime you want to access your room, the card will decline, I'm sure management need to work on that as a matter of urgency.

The security on night shift wanted to send us to go sleep at 10pm as we are adults we have the right to choose my bed time . I guess they wanted to sleep on night shift themselves. Day time security was very good especially the lady .

Sleeping at 10pm and being told we cannot sit at the lounge area with my family when i been served food and drinks paid USD240 to later be disrespected to that level. Chefs food was uncooked on 2 occassions and pork was a bit off. Bar man was brilliant i tipped his a few times so fair play to him.

The room was clean and with air conditioning. Helpful and friendly staff. Restaurant served limited but tasty food!!. The place is landscaped and feels like a luxury resort.

Location was bit far from city ( not s dis advantage as the traffic is not much in Harare)

clean, fresh colours, very relaxing atmosphere.staff very helpful, polite and go the extra mile to helps with our bags and to have a comfortable stay. loved the gardens. Grounds well maintained . A very clean hotel.Keep up the good work.
