Beryl Palace Hotel and Spa

We were very happy with this hotel. The room (and bathroom) were great, and met our expectations for the price we paid, and we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The staff were the highlight, and Richie in particular. He spoke the best English we encountered during our time in Vietnam, and very efficiently organised 3 perfect tours for us - an overnight boat cruise to Ha Long Bay, a day trip to Ninh Binh, and a private day tour of Hanoi with an awesome guide, who also spoke good English - her name is Thùy. Be aware that it can be very hard to find Vietnamese people who speak English clearly. I would also like to point out that when I advised Richie that due to engine problems with our flight, we would be arriving a day later. He adjusted the booking and didn't charge us for the missed night. That was very honourable and is not something I expected the hotel to do, in fact I wasn't even going to ask since it was too late to cancel the first night. I don't think many hotels would do that, especially without even being asked, so I must commend them for this. We highly recommend this hotel.

Could not have asked for a better stay in Hanoi! The rooms were huge with a lovely bathtub. The balcony is amazing as well. The service staff was friendly and attended to our every request. We see this consistency throughout our stay. They very kindly helped us store our luggage when we went to Halong Bay for a night. They upgraded our room for a night when we returned from a long bus journey from Sapa. There is a high level of confidence that the service staff can be relied on. The hotel is centrally located and a very good base for walking within the old quarter. We will highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

Everything,friendly staff that always wanted to be helpful,the morning breakfasts with plenty of fruit a mix of Vietnamese dishesand cereal , Free water . The location was great close to markets shops and eateries the experience of navigating the footpath and traffic was fun . Our room was quite and clean with cleaners coming in every day . The staff spoke pretty good english and helped organize a couple of trips we did . It’s an older style hotel but that only added to its charm.

Beryl Hotel was a great place to stay at in Hanoi. It is located in the Old Quarter and therefore walking distance to many sights such as the Hoan Kiem Lake, Water Puppet show and Night Market. There are many food options nearby. It also offers good breakfast with different food options. The staff are exceptional! We enjoyed our stay very much! They also booked our tours for us and that helped us a lot

The extra bed is a bit hard, so I do suggest opting for rooms that fit the number of people, without having to ask for an extra bed

the place is perfect for getting to know hanoi. perfect location just five minutes away from train street. Great beds and sheets. great shower and bathroom as well as a very good breakfast, laundry service is very quick and affordable. the staff go out of their way to help you book any tour that you want. Mr Ritchie helped us in every way that he could. He helped us with our doubts and booked us an amazing trip to Ha long bay in a beautiful cruise at an affordable price. He is extremely responsive and will assist you in any way he can. Christian was a superb waiter and helped us with all our requests, always attentive and kind. The staff really make this hotel a great place to stay.

The staffs were so nice, they upgraded the room for us. The room was very large, with sofa and table ! Exceptional view. The beds were so comfortable and we slept soundly throughout the night. The hotel is located in old quarter so there are several restaurants and cafes around here. It is also a walking distance from the train street. Breakfast is served 6.30-9.30. A variety of food was provided and it was delicious. Spa service is also available at reasonable price. The staffs could speak english and helped us a lot.

One day in early morning, I think the hot shower did not work. However, on the other day, it worked fine. In overall, the bathroom is nice and we had a great time at the hotel. Although the hotel appeared small from upfront, it has many floors and rooms.

Excellent location. Really enjoyed the neighborhood. Lots of good restaurants. Less then 10 minute walk to Hang Dao Street. Comfortable bed Front desk staff were professional, friendly and helpful.

Our room was small and lacked an external view. The only external window was above our bed. It let in natural light, but was too high to provide us with a view outside. In the hotel’s defense, they sent me an email letting me know that the superior room did not have an external view, so we knew this before arrival. We did not request an upgrade. The room was fine for one night but more that, it might start to feel claustrophobic. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Very limited choices. We ate at 7:00am and already some of the food had run out.

We stayed at BERYL PALACE and SPA HOTEL from 8-14September 2022. During this time, MR RICHIE PHAM looked after us at the Hotel. He has been outstanding in his performance. He made adjustments to our room to make our stay more comfortable and convenient. He designed for us a tour program including a two-day trip make our lives easier and holiday very enjoyable. He provided excellent advice so that we would easily find our way around Hanoi and see the touristic sites. He helped us with on onwards travel to Ho Chi Ming City, both with tourism advice and taxi transport in Ho Chi Ming City; we booked our tours there using him as the agent-cheaper. He was extremely pleasant and trust worthy individual who tries to make tourists coming to BERYL PALACE and SPA Hotel have the best possible enjoyable and pleasant stay in Hanoi.

Location was awesome, close to everything. The road the hotel is on is very busy, so was a bit daunting crossing the road to get to the hotel the first time. Breakfast was varied each day, although the choices were limited and the sunny side up eggs could have been better. Rooms were fantastic, very comfortable and clean. Staff were probably the best thing about this hotel, they were so helpful, with Mr Richie being amazing...

The only thing I didn't like were the breakfast options. Just not a huge choice, and some menu items weren't to our tastes.

Beryl palace hotel located in the old quarter of Hanoi. It's brilliant location to go for walks, shopping, street food, theatre and see some favourite places , including old train line. Big thank you for the staff, specialy for Mr.Ritchie,the leader who speaks very good english and was very helpful to organise my tours and helped with all bookings.
