The room was modern, updated; comfortable. breakfast was exquisite and the staff were knowledgeable, helpful and overall delightful. The location is great because you can access the amenities and fun at the marina, but also have historic places within walking distance. Also the treats they keep at the office, are homemade by the staff in the kitchen, so equally scrumptious as what is offered at breakfast. And they have a workout room, and a small pool that does the trick for sticky summer nights.

There is definitely a distinctive taste to the water so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, I would recommend getting bottled water for toothbrushing or drinking. ..washing/showering is fine.

Loved the location and the staff! We booked for one night and ended up staying for four! Bobbie, the chef, grew up in Beaufort and shared so much about history and where to go! My daughter and I had a vacation of a lifetime because of her! The staff in the front office were so awesome! We just love this hotel and would definitely use it again!

It was a little confusing to find the entrance. After we found it, no problem!

Good service from cheerful staff throughout. Community style breakfast included with a very welcoming cook/host and freshly baked local products meant that we chatted to other guests which made us feel welcome. Clean pool with towels provided, sunny till mid-afternoon. Helpful reception with free coffee and cold drink always available. Convenient car parking with lots of shade. Large room (a little dark though) freshly decorated with a recently refurbished excellent bath/shower room. Location is fantastically convenient for all the main attractions of Beaufort including Main Street, the waterfront park and museums.

The building is so ugly I nearly didn't book there - and you don't feel proud to be a guest! It looks like a converted warehouse from the civil war period!! WASTE! Can America ever become a responsible member of the world? Breakfast was ALL single-use paper or plastic causing disgusting levels of waste, which I very much doubt even got recycled. The single-use waxed paper cups were even wrapped individually in single-use plastic packaging. That's appalling!!!

The breakfast was outstanding. The ladies who prepared the food were courteous and accommodating. It was nice to be able to eat outside as well.

I was upset at first when I saw the room doors were facing the outside because I did not see any pictures of this. I was concerned for safety reasons. The Motel Clerk assured me it was perfectly safe ~ they had security and Beaufort had little crime in the downtown area. She was right. We were comfortable walking from the room to the downtown shops and restaurants.

Great location, fabulous breakfast, we’ll maintained. The housekeepers do a great job. We really loved it and it will be our go to from now on.

The only thing was a musty smell when we first walked into our room. There was a dehumidifier that was full so it was not running. They immediately emptied it and it helped a lot. We emptied it each day, usually twice a day. It was quite pleasant as long as that was running. It is a humid area and across the street from the water so we understand that being an issue.

All was great, the room was spacious and beautiful, beds comfy, and the location was great as well, with plenty places to eat nearby, a beautiful waterfront park to have a walk and watch a sunset a few steps away; and also a convenient access to the islands (we were going to an event on Fripp Island). Would love to go back one day!

Breakfast was great! Variety each day. Warm bacon cheddar scones and sweet potato bread were excellent, as well as the delectable brownies in the check-in office. Location was perfect as it was within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping and the Waterfront.

It's at the end of the street in downtown Beaufort. We were on the second floor facing the water and the room door also had a glass storm door if you wanted to have your door open. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast area is large and they had a menu for the week. We will be back.

Very comfortable and accommodating. Complimentary snacks (Klondike bar, goldfish, chocolate chip cookies, water, tea, coffee). We arrived later in the evening and were going to the graduation ceremony at Parris Island which led us to leave in the morning before breakfast was available. There were bagged breakfasts available or for guests that were heading out prior to breakfast. It consists of a muffin, juice, and an apple. Very nice to have something to eat. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

great location with views across park to river and short walk to town. Quiet,clean and comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but wished we had booked for longer. Fantastic restaurant over bridge Lady’s Island Dockside. worth the drive.
