Hampton Inn Omaha Midtown-Aksarben

This hotel was conveniently located 4 minutes from a friend I was in town to see. There are some restaurants and a Starbucks just outside of the hotel. The room amenities are very nice (huge fridge, microwave, ice and vending on each floor) and there was a personalized message on the TV when I walked into the room. The bed linens were very comfortable.

The towels were a bit crunchy, and my $250 Yeti cooler (that would cost $400 to repurchase due to a discontinued color) was stolen out of my car in the parking lot, at about 10 a.m. on check-out day, in between trips when I was loading my car. Huge loss for me :-(

Breakfast was great! Staff was super helpful and friendly, even when they were busy. Great location. Super comfy beds, clean and spacious room, stellar facility. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Nice pool and hot tub. Nice workout room. Very nice dining room for breakfast.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like!

shattered glass in parking lot because a car had been broken into but the lot itself was well lit. the parking area outside the hotel had cracked/uneven pavement and was unswept which differs from some newer Hampton inns.

This property was very clean and centrally located. It was so nice to have the full breakfast back. Good job!

We needed a receipt at check out and because we booked through a third party were unable to receive a receipt, which makes absolutely no sense. If I try to book through the hotel I am ALWAYS transferred to someone who barely speaks English and never can get a rate even close to the third party rate so what is the advantage of booking through the hotel? Then when you book through a third party the front desk treats you like a leper. Very unappreciative!

Very clean. We had very limited contact with staff but those were met were courteous. We were disappointed the hot tub wasn’t working. There was a breakfast that was Covid friendly. We rarely came across people and felt very safe from Covid. The room was standard and very clean. We appreciate the microwave and refrigerator. It was a nice get away.

I was disappointed the hot tub didn’t work and there wasn’t a hot breakfast. Although we never saw guests, there were some rather loud ones around 2 am but it was St. Patrick’s Day.

the property was very clean! loved the coffee bar and there was even coloring pages set out for kids! the staff was very friendly and accommodating. breakfast was delicious, they even had chocolate chips you could put in your waffle mix. yum! the location is great, across from a Walmart. and the room size is incredible, we had more than enough space.

It was convenient location for work, it was super quiet (MUCH APPRECIATED so i could continue to work). The staff was soooo friendly and nice. Clean. I couldn't really ask for more (considering I was here working :))

I vented to the front desk agent about the bad experience we had with a local hotel and she checked us into our rooms and afterwards offered go the extra mile and help me get the problem resolved. I wouldn't allow but the fact that she offered made feel as if she genuinely cared about my comfort and concerns. The breakfast in the morning was just what the doctor ordered for my kids and thats extremely rare. Needless to say, we will definitely be back!
