Hampton Inn Boston Seaport District

Beautiful hotel in a great location! The staff is amazing! This is my go to hotel in Boston as I travel there regularly. Joseph who is part of the front desk team treats me like family - he is so cordial and does everything he can to assure my stay is comfortable. Carmen at the front desk also deserves a shout out as she is also sweet and accommodating. Love this hotel!

Pros: clean and new. Clean lining, towels, furniture, no bad smells in the common area or in the room. Pretty nice breakfast, however, no veggies at all. Plenty of desserts. Great gym with all basics available. Nice dining area (two). Great views with huge windows. Good cleaning service. Location: not far from the downtown and all the fancy places and neighborhoods. But will need to take a 20-min walk.

Cons: you will have to share the lobby/dining area with people coming from cruise ships. It happens almost every morning at around 8am, so at this time it will be a challenge to find a free spot to eat.

Loved everything about the hotel and staff and facilities? Not a big fan of the beds and bedding- sheets were scratchy and bedding was so loud it woke me when anyone moved. Other than the bedding and comfort the hotel was 4 stars with 5 star service and amenities- especially breakfast!

Very comfortable, modern rooms and lots of options at breakfast. Great facilities in terms of gym/pool and good location close to the Seaport shops and restaurants. Nice view of the city from the window. Friendly staff.

This is minor but I wasn't a fan of the use of the plastic cutlery/cups and paper plates at breakfast as it is very wasteful. I presume this is for hygiene reasons against COVID but it doesn't really add up when all the guests have to touch the same serving dishes etc. As well as this, everything is thrown in the same bin so anything that could have been recycled is dumped. It just doesn't make sense for a hotel that is so modern.

The room was impressive, I figured the price would have resulted in lower quality accommodations, but boy was I wrong. Brand spanking new hotel. No bar service but you can order beer and wine at their service shop and take it back to your room. Also, we opted out of utilizing their valet service as there is a parking garage within a two-minute walk. No brainer. We were within walking distance (within a mile) of multiple restaurants. A nice bonus was that the hotel had complementary streaming services for viewing.

The bed could've been a little softer and the pool has a 12-person limit, but overall, the bed and pool were still great.

The staff here can't do enough for you. Breakfast is great if you get over the plastic cutlery and paper plates. they have a small selection of hot food which they keep fresh and really well presented and they vary it by day. Then there is a reasonable selection of breads/pastries/fruit/yoghurts etc. with an awesome waffle maker so that you can make your own waffles and put toppings on. Great for kids and adults alike!! There is free tea and coffee all day in the lounge area along with water and the free pour beer facility where you need to top up a payment card first. An help you need is on hand from exceptional staff especially a lady called Memsura at breakfast who is just incredible.

The location is a bit out of the way so be prepared for long walks and taxi/uber drives. That said, Downtown is not that far away and there are some really good restaurants in reasonable walking distance. The pool is very small and more like a plunge pool so don't expect to get any exercise in that. Good for kids though.

Good location, in a quieter area but not a bad walk to restaurants etc. we had a nice water view from our room which was a nice surprise

A/C I room a little loud, but we got used to it I guess, we were too busy to move our stuff if we did a room change. I am sure the staff would have did what they could, very helpful and pleasant during other interactions. Especially carmine at front desk, went out of her way, giving us ideas where to go, park etc. Staff in dining area very pleasant and helpful, kept area stocked and clean despite it being so busy

We stayed at this Hotel for Valentines Day and we were delightfully surprised at the nice decorations, pink and red balloons, hearts and free heart shaped sugar cookies! The hotel also has a beer station that you can buy a card to try local beers on tap. We didn't try any, but it was neat to see. They have lots of room in the lobby to sit, with a lovely fireplace. Our room was big, and the beds were very comfy. Our main mission was to go swimming in the pool, which was small but clean. They have a shower to wash yourself with that was super warm and soothing, as well as two changing rooms. We swam for an hour and it was so relaxing. Very easy to have food delivered, and we had take out from a local restaurant. Bathroom was very clean, and we asked for extra shampoo and conditioner as we are women with long hair. The staff filled up a little baggy! Wonderful shower, beds were super comfortable. The best part was the included breakfast which was much better than the Omni Parker that I stayed in on my first night in Boston. They had everything! Yogurts, fruits, sliced ham, little egg omelettes, bagels, creamcheese, 3 types of juices, muffins, and the best part A WAFFLE MAKER. I'm not sure if this is an everyday thing but they had normal batter, and red velvet batter -- which I assumed was for Valentine's Day. There were many familes at breakfast, as well as business people. We were surprised as the hotel felt very quiet, and empty when we arrived. Definitely has great sound proofing.

The hotel is a bit out of the way of the city. There is a bus stop that is nearby, but its out of the way. Otherwise we tried to take one bus from the city, and it never came. We ended up walking to the hotel but we didn't mind. I think some people on previous reviews complained about how far it was but frankly as someone living in Canada, a 30 minute walk is nothing. We took an Uber once to South Station and it was 8 dollars and really fast. I don't see how that is a problem. I think if you have children this wouldn't be a good hotel unless you are willing to pay for an Uber or wait for the bus, which could be a hassle with tired kids.

The hotel is quite new so it's very clean and our room was quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff were always helpful and friendly. The valet parking service seemed expensive but we ultimately found it very helpful and worth the cost. Breakfast offered a nice variety of food choices and good coffee.

I would have liked the option to reuse towels in the bathroom. There was no way to communicate this except to put out the do-not-disturb sign. Better toasters are needed at breakfast. The ones we used are too slow.

Everything was so clean and the staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was bar far the best breakfast we have had in a hotel before. I liked that the hallway to the room had a key card entry, nice added sense of security. The room was very nice, felt clean and had a water view.

The pool was definitely on the chilly side which isn't a big deal. I also listed that we would have a 2 year old with us on the reservation so I was a little surprised that our room only had a shower and no tub (not sure if tubs were even in hotel). The shower was beautiful and we made it work.
