Convenient location to attractions in the area. The staff was pleasant. Clean.

Price was too much. $300/night was the highest I've ever paid. I thought it would be closer to the water with a better view of the harbor, so I paid for a view room with not much of a view. Disappointing. The bathroom was tiny. The toilet was a foot from the door. The breakfast quiche was scrambled eggs with various additions. I would have like some toast but only bagels or muffins. The way you received your breakfast felt a little institutional.

Everything in this hotel was completely spotless. I've never swam in such a clean pool/hot tub. Our room was also incredibly clean. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great! The view was amazing with a quick walk down to the water and it's a super quick drive to downtown Belfast. Would definitely stay here again!

The beds were a little too firm for my comfort and we had a light out in our bathroom but since there were 2 lights, we were okay!

Breakfast was wonderful, the staff were fabulous, helpful and attentive. I wish I could have adjusted my thermostat. I sleep at 65 degrees and unfortunately didn't get much sleep. But otherwise, would make this my go to when in Belfast!!

The location is right off the highway but away from the town. The reception was super friendly and helpful. This is a family run hotel and it shows that each team member takes a role in making sure your stay is wonderful. The indoor pool and spa overlooks the ocean so a 20 minute soak will relax you for sure. The breakfast was custom quiche and more each morning and prepared however you wanted. Hot beverages were available 24/7 self serve. Breakfast was NOT a buffet style but order and pick up at the kitchen window. The ocean view rooms had a large expanse of well manicured lawn between the hotel and the shoreline..... a little further away than we expected. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and just chilling. Definitely a quiet place to enjoy. We were fortunate to meet Julian at the front desk who's wife is a mystery writer of British Cozies. We downloaded a couple of her books from Amazon and if you are into easy reading mysteries of the British style (little to no blood and gore) then Dorothy Cannell was a great find. Thank you Julian for sharing.

The restaurants seemed to be few and far but it may be because we were there on a Sunday/Monday and most were closed. We ended up down at the harbor, at the pub. It was not my first choice for a decent meal since it all was fried and brown.

Clean hotel, small balcony's in the rear of the hotel have a beautiful view of the water. Convenient to Belfast, though on the other side of the bay, so you need to drive to get to the city center. Clean indoor pool with well maintained hot tub. Very nice breakfast room, with small custom food cart run by a couple, plenty of seating...though we got our food and brought it back to eat on out balcony and enjoy the view!

Not much! It's located fairly convenient to Belfast and/or going the other way to get to Bar Harbor. Some rooms might need a bit of maintenance but it would be minor at best. Relax, enjoy the view and have a great vacation!

Breakfast (complimentary) was excellent. Choices of 2 homemade quiche (w/out crusts for the gluten-sensitive!) an unexpected pleasure. Coffee good, accessible for many guests, clean tables, fresh fruit, a tasty yogurt all wonderful. Good cinnamon buns. Lots of light in dining area w/ views of the water a big plus.

Booking a little deceptive since we felt we were getting a water view w/ balcony, but only a parking lot. Desk staff helpful, but the restaurant he recommended had closed at 3:00 and all others booked solid due to the overflow. (Perhaps an opportunity for a website for local hotels/inns and restaurants to post info on unexpected closures?) Had to stop at a grocery store for something to heat in the room instead. Thank goodness for the microwave in the room!

The Belfast Harbor Inn was great, the reception area is very contemporary with friendly and helpful reception staff. The rooms were a good size; large and quiet with a view over the water from the terrace. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were pleasant also with nice views as well as being very quiet. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed and doing takeaway / pre-ordered breakfasts which we ended up having on our room terrace but it was perfectly satisfactory.

It's a shame that the kitchen wasn't open yet (due to COVID) but aside from that this hotel was great. The location suited our road trip itinerary.

The awesome lady who makes the pastries/coffee cake etc deserves a trophy and maybe a national holiday. The staff is unbelievably friendly, the interior is newer, modern and clean. The pool and hot tub area is beautiful and very clean. The hot tub is also huge, which was awesome.

The mattresses may need replacing soon, my side was very uncomfortable and a bit saggy,but my husband's side was a little better. The beds were also smaller than expected. Most of the pillows were a very thin down style, I needed more support personally. The room was extremely clean but there were some beads on the floor just under the curtain, which normally wouldn't be a big deal but we had a small child and we all know how they are with putting things in their mouths. There were 3 earwigs around the tub drain that my husband killed, thankfully. (But it's winter in Maine, so. I'll take earwigs over spiders, at least! ) None of these are deal breakers for us, I just hope to get a firmer mattress next time.

This was SUCH a clean property! Everything was well maintained and manicured grounds. it has a beautiful view of the water.

the ONLY drawback is it’s advertised as waterfront, which it is, but the pictures lead you to believe you can walk to the waters edge from the hotel. you CAN, but know it’s through some brush and a “path”. it’s not inaccessible, it’s just not like the pictures make it seem to be.

The breakfast was amazing. Mini quiche and fresh baked pastries. It’s was well above what we had seen in our multiple stays heading up the coast. They had an indoor and outdoor pool with a hot tub that we took full advantage of. Also we had it all to ourselves. The hotel was beautiful like it had just had a major renovation. It still smelled like new carpet.

Well the only thing I would change would be the bed. It was very firm. It seem like the last thing to replace after all the other up grades
