Red Roof Inn & Suites Lake Charles

At checkout, the clerk reversed a charge I guaranteed for another room using my credit card, so I can get a refund. Thank you.

At checkin, the clerk didn’t give my friend and I an option to charge each room on separate credit cards. We were told before our arrival that the system was set up for both rooms to be charged on my credit card. On the website when I was in the process of booking, my credit card was to guarantee the rooms only and it states “don’t pay now, you pay at the property”. So, the clerk should’ve charged each credit card. Also on the website, the reviews read an array of choices for a delicious hot breakfast. Not true!! There were plenty of carbs available and no fruit.

The whole place was spotlessly clean. The floors are so pretty and the beds was comfy. Breakfast does not have a lot of options, but I didn't expect breakfast at all so it was a nice surprise. The coffee was great, always full and always hot. The front desk staff was so sweet, I did not catch her name, but the pregnant redhead who checked me in was a doll and the tiny little lady who did breakfast and it seemed like everything else was also super sweet and helpful. It was very quiet the whole time and I will dedinitely return on my trips to Lake Charles.

No complaints really. The pool was closed but was clean. The parking lot is small and sort of awkward but it works. Everyone had room to park. The one single thing I was surprised about was the shower water was lukewarm at best. I didn't even say anything because everything else was so good.

Property was nice and clean. Right off the interstate and not to to far from food. I’d stay there again. The staff was super friendly the whole time. They are doing renovations on the hotel rooms but no noise at night.

The tub didn’t have a slip mat and it had rust where the overflow is but that wasn’t a big deal. The tub plug was broken and the shower head was dirty. Breakfast was only waffles, toast, oatmeal, milk, orange juice, and coffee.

Left another hotel, to stay in Lake Charles, Red Roof Inn. It was affordable, for three double queen room. Didn’t break the bank. Pleasant room, very clean, spacious. The services were very quick, when asked for towels or information. Had kids from 3-17, they all said it was a nice stay.

Can’t say I could mention any dislikes. Everyone in our 13 party group, kids ranging from 3-17. Everyone enjoyed their time

There weren't any carpets in sight, which I appreciated. The hotel is pet friendly. I do not own pets and was worried the hotel would smell like pets. However, it was very clean, and I did not notice any pet smells. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is also easily accessible from the highway.

The pool is outdoors and is a bit dirty.

Location and price good

Checked in and room smelled horrible. Like mold. There was a humidifier in room. So they knew there was a prob all ready. But front desk lady was nice and got us another room. Only thing was bed wasn't too comfortable. Also, not nearly enough parking. Very small area. Some people had to park in grass close to road.

this location is 8 miles from where I actually was going, but that's Ok. Our room was 102 right off the reception desk and i truly enjoyed that. The fact they were pet friendly and dont charge for a pet is a plus with me. I have stayed here before and would stay again

the only thing that was wrong is that they didnt have much of a selection for breakfast

pool close. to early we work late had got in got told to get Out . And my daughter was told she couldn’t use the bathroom downstairs said lady was rude to her .

The facility and the room were exceptionally clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was pleasing to the appetite. I highly recommend this facility.

The bathroom door wouldn't lock!

Everything: big rooms, newly renovated, quiet and very clean . Parking secure .Swimming pool . Breakfast included. Staff very kind and efficient

Breakfast too light ( continental + waffles ) but good anyway
