Red Roof Inn Berea

This inn is in a great location, just off the expressway, with a great Mexican restaurant & Walmart nearby. This is our 1/2 way spot to stay when we travel to see our grandkids. It’s reasonably priced, (no breakfast) mostly updated, and comfortable.

They could use an updated paint job on the inside walls & doors, they seriously need to clean & fix up the pool area & making the check in area a little more welcoming wouldn’t hurt either

The room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and the location was safe. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we rested very well!. The staff were all very polite, hospitable, and accommodating.

I did not like it that Booking.com charged be $100 deposit and did not immediately release the hold. I even asked the hotel if they could do anything to have the hold released and the manager indicated that he could not, and was extremely apologetic. This was not a good experience for us! It was our first time using this site and we have now deleted the app - NEVER AGAIN! “BOOKING DOT NOT” again!

all of it as of staying in the room it was very clean everything worked. the only thing I didn’t like was what the person behind the desk said to my wife and me after we checked in. he asked if we used one of the apps like Booking.com and we said yes he then said we shouldn’t use then apps because it takes money out of there pockets. if he didn’t want to lose money he shouldn’t put his hotel on any of the apps. we will stay there again but I thought that was something that he shouldn’t say to anyone checking in at the hotel.

It was easy to find (we stayed here before, we liked it so well), the pool was nice and clean, close to food and supplies, easy check in, clean room, no extra noises around us and the people beside us had 2 dogs.

The bed was not comfortable at all. We both woke with a backache and we didn't have that last time. The pool area needed fixed up some; the table was broken, no umbrellas and the chairs were older and pretty worn. No breakfast

Mostly everything... friendly staff, clean room, nice size room, refrig, micro and coffee maker. The location was great with restaurants and stores and gas stations all around.

Small dislikes...those type of a/c units are very loud....there must be a metal bed frame, that makes noise when you get in and out of bed...could use some painting, in areas. Room 147

Clean roon, comfortable bed, good value.

There was very poor quality coffee packages in the room. We were told there was breakfast... there was not! Coffee was made late and also very poor quality without cream. Only packaged powder.

Everything. friendly staff, clean room with good internet. I was able to park my car right outside my room. Laundry available (although they didn’t have detergent, which was the only sad part).

Nothing (except they didn’t offer laundry detergent) In their defense, it was available at a gas station less than a block away 😊

Clean room with all the things we look for. Tv microwave, fridge and work desk. Daily room service, so we didn't have to do the towel exchange at the front deak.

Breakfast offerings consisted of coffee.

The location was excellent, the parking lot was well lighted at night, no shadows anywhere, very secure and safe. The rooms were very clean and the staff was excellent and friendly. The room exceeded my expectations for the price, oh please don't raise it, will stay again, highly recommend!

NOTHING!

Room was small but very clean. Right off the interstate, with some food options a quick walk away. A good stopping point on a long trip.

Only downside was the outside lights....appreciate the lighting, but left the room a little bright while trying to sleep.
