Motel 6-Valdosta, GA - University

The room was exceptionally clean. Far better than the one in Texas. Very clean rooms It's also very important to note that the parking lot was very clean, so much that I was able to walk barefoot with no fear of getting cut.

The vending machines excessively expensive and it's not good because within walking distance there is a Mart with ' normal ' prices and not a rip-off like the ones you have. Other than that, just fine. Also unfortunately there was no shampoo. All other motel 6 always have shampoo and conditioner. Plus iron and ironing board.

For a Budget Motel, compared with other places I have stayed, this room was very nice. It looked good, was clean, the bed was comfortable, the appliances all worked well. I have no complaints about the room at all. However, the ice machines were broken outside, and I wanted some ice, and there was no breakfast at all. Those were mild complaints, in the scheme of things.

For a motel 6, the price and quality was amazing! You could tell they def did some remodeling and it lived up to it. The shower is super upscale imo. The floor was clean! Bed was comfy. Staff is friendly!

Takes a good min for the room to cool with the a/c. Check in is at 3, but when we went, we were told we had to wait another hour bc it wasn’t ready. I asked for a first floor room and was told it would be ready. Came back, was told we couldn’t get a first floor room and I didn’t bother to ask why bc we already waited an hour and wanted to settle in. The place, based off the number of cars, was basically empty so idk why we couldn’t get first floor. I’m not upset but it would’ve been nice since check in wasn’t ready on time and we had to wait longer.

It looks & feels like You are staying at a much more expensive hotel just not paying the high price for it. The woman at the front desk is by far the nicest person in the business! This is our second time staying here because it is just so nice. Anytime we have to come to Valdosta this is where we will be staying. Trust me you will not regret staying there. Oh and BTW we did not see 1 druggie the whole time we were there and that's all you ever see at cheaper hotels..

There was nothing to not like..

CLEAN remodeled rooms. 2 full beds non smoking room with clean wood floors that actually looked and smelled like a non smoking room. It didn't reak with old carpet cover up smells. The white walls were actually white. The comforters actually looked and smelled clean! Huge walk-in shower with good water pressure and didn't run out of hot water. All 4 of us had a hot shower. The shower head was high enough for my 6'1 husband to stand under; and we didn't hear the the toilet and shower from the other rooms. Air was cold.The pool was open and clean. The staff, particularly "B" were very friendly. We will definitely stay again on our way back thru.

No extra linens or pillows. The room was small. One bed was up against the air conditioner and the other bed was up against the wall.

I was going through a hard time at that time with my husband and him leaving me basically stranded in FL. I finally got a ride to GA and booked a room at the motel 6. The lady at the front desk was exceptional and understanding of my situation at the time. And a big shout out to Sandra, one of the housekeepers. My room was so clean and comfortable, the cleanest room I have ever stayed in at a hotel. Not only was I quite pleased but very impressed that there are still people who take pride in their work and really stand out above the rest.They made me feel at home in the situation I was in when I needed it the most. Sandra you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. If you are traveling to or through Valdosta GA book your stay at the Motel 6., highly recommend with 10 STARS!!! Exceptional quality and price with caring ,friendly, above and beyond their job staff.

I like that the room was clean. Nice and clean. Location okay.

They make you do a $25 dollar deposit when you check in which I feel is stupid. When you check out in the morning you have to wait at the front desk while the one lady working to check your room so you can get your $25 dollars back. There were 3 people in front of me so it took 30 minutes to get my $25 Dollars back. If that doesn't change I will never book there again.

room had everything needed; comfortable bed, good lights, TV worked fine, especially nice was the brand new walk in shower w/seat, very nice spray a real perk. Additionally I'd left my watch on nightstand and realized I was without after I departed, immediately called and it was held for me. I Paid for self addressed stamped and return envelope which staff returned immediately upon receipt truly grateful, kudos thanks all, especially "Bee".

I'm so glad I stopped in Valdosta. The people there are so nice period the housekeeping staff was Excellent! Bhoomi, At the front desk, She was awesome! The other southern lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! I had an amazing experience and a wonderful time! front desk.

And it and the TV didn't work because of the recent storm.

Exceeded our expectations for a cheap motel. Very clean!!! Nice comfy bed. Hugh walk in ceramic shower with build on bench and rain head shower head!!! Grounds was very clean and maintained. The overnight staff was extremely nice considering we checked in at 1:30am. Will definitely add this to our list to recommend and stay again!!!!
