Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel

My room was clean tidy-sheets and pillows. The mint shampoo really gave my experience a fresh touch. It’s located close to so many other locations. I liked the livingroom-like lobby. It’s a nice/safe place to stay at.

There’s not much to do within the hotel. Somehow the rooftop bar is not the hotels rooftop it on the 1st or 2nd floor rooftop -bummer- so you won’t be getting any building shots without the glass reflection. They don’t offer free-breakfast.

The room was wonderful and the staff day & night shift were awesome.

I didn't like that the WiFi wasn't free to customers. As much as you pay a night it should be. Also didn't like that I couldn't order room service from room or place it for pickup from my room. I had to go downstairs to place my order. Which was kind of an inconvenience because, I was trying to have a romantic birthday weekend with my fiancé. An surprise him with breakfast in bed.

No parking besides valet which was $45 a day plus tips. When I attempted to get my car using the number given it was busy so I used the alternate extension that was provided. The employee (a woman) told me I needed to phone the other number. I explained to her it was busy, she got irritated and was so rude to me like I was asking her to steal a car instead of retrieving mine. I also wasn't aware of the extra $100 per night incidental charges.

It was clean and the Manager was very helpful and friendly

The staff was great, very friendly. Also the location was great. Room looks great. I was pretty busy all days during my stay so I didn't really get a chance to explore the hotel in more details.

Parking is only valet and pretty expensive, $45/night. Also, breakfast is not included in the room booking.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for Father’s Day 2021. Check in was very smooth! We didn’t have any issues. The location was great. We were in walking distance to quite a few bars and lounges. Ubers weren’t expensive if needed. We didn’t get to try the restaurant attached to the hotel because they were super busy. There’s a 24 hour diner that delivers via Grubhub if you get hungry. FOOD WAS AMAZING.

Only knock was the parking garage (which is attached to the hotel). They aren’t many spaces available. Partly due to the fact that ppl take up two spaces to avoid someone hitting their vehicle although the spots were big enough. One night we came down and we were blocked in because someone had made a spot behind us. There was no way of knowing who’s car it was because don’t track vehicles. We needed up being about 30 minutes late to our movie. I’d suggest parking elsewhere.

Check-in was flawless and everyone is so nice. The room was perfect, very clean and stocked with brand name essentials. The onsite bar was nice to meet after a long day. Close to many restaurants

the availability of snacks and drinks was limited but there is a store close by so was not horrible

I love the Marriott beds. they are so comfortable. there also was some interesting art in it. also the breakfast was good

the room did not contain any info about the property, and did not have a room service menu. the soap in the bathroom was unwrapped and appeared to have been used.

I have one complaint that I did bring to a staff members attention abs he said he would have someone look at it. When entering the elevator, the door began to close prematurely. I stuck my arm out which was holding my shoe. The elevator door would not open. I was able to use my other hand to find the emergency release but it was kind of scary that the shoe did not activate it. Please ensure someone looks into this.

I loved that the restroom had two showers, one of the showers was a tub as well. It was nice and spaced out so there was plenty of room in the room I stayed at. There was also a restaurant in the hotel that served all eating needs, that was the best part. I loved how secure the hotel was, to get up and down the elevator you had to use a keycard securing the safety of the people in the hotel.

No cleaning service until the 3rd day of our 4 day stay. Pricey breakfast.
