Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Tampa Busch Gardens Area

The location was perfect if your plan is to go to Bush gardens Tampa. This location has seen some upgrades, but has some remnants of old. The King suite was surprisingly spacious, however the lighting could have been better. All the lights were lamps so there were some dim areas. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise. I would stay here again. Mini waffle maker clutch, tip the shuttle driver!!

The building showed some imperfections, sliding doors looked rusted, due to moisture from the shower, they could have provided a second chair so two people could eat at the table. Couldn't find a room safe, would have been nice to have.

Breakfast was good. Desk staff who checked us in was absolutely lovely, in her few words of welcome I felt at ease and happy to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Perfect situation for Busch gardens. Would happily recommend and stay again.

One comment- there is seating around corner for breakfast, which was not signposted, which meant people were waiting for others to finish to eat their breakfast. A flip chart was brought out with a handwritten message of further seating, but it looked unprofessional in what was otherwise a lovely hotel - and truly that is the only negative I can come up with!!

The property was super clean, well-maintained and secure. That alone would have been enough, however it is the staff who really shines! Ms. Pam was absolutely amazing! She is the best front desk manager I have encountered (and we just came from Disney). She was able to manage everything with a smile. I felt very safe and secure with her there. Me. Smooth was also fantastic! He provided impeccable service. The snack bar manager (I missed getting her name) was another wonderful addition to the hotel. Lastly, the cleaning staff was nice, did an excellent job and the break was amazing. One of the best experiences I have had at a hotel. P.S. Keep your staff, they are fantastic!

Everything was great!

Staff very friendly and professional. An expected Hampton Inn hotel with the appropriate amenities and services. The convenient proximity (2 minutes) to Busch Gardens which is where we were heading with my grandkids, was most convenient especially the free shuttle service. Wish I would have known about this on arrival day.

The swimming pool was not attractive at all. A concrete hole filled with water, on a concrete deck surrounding by concrete walls. Imagine how hot that is in 90+ degree weather. May not have enjoyed the stay as much as if our rooms were facing Busch Gardens Blvd, a very busy street.

Very clean, friendly, comfortable and right beside Busch Gardens which suited us for an overnight stay to spend 2 full days at BG. Breakfast was included which gave us a good start to our day. Set between Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds for tea and treats after a day at the park. Ask for a park view if you want to see Gawzi from your room or a back room if you want a peaceful nights sleep, as the road can be noisy.

Can't say anything bad about the hotel. But the area isn't great. Thankfully there's a shuttle bus service to the park or like us, we'd free parking for BG included with our tickets. We've walked before but wouldn't do it again

The staff were all wonderful! Pam was super nice and Nichole was awesome! The support staff were all super friendly and professional. Also? The drivers for the shuttle were Fantastic!!

Our room was a tad small but ok. The air conditioning unit was AWFUL. it made terrible noise almost all night. I didn’t complain because I knew the hotel was pretty full and we may not have been able to move rooms. It needs attention and fixing for sure! I had to buy ear plugs to get thru the 4 nights.

The property was clean and the staff was very nice, on my request they gave us an upgrade. Pam explained it was on the street and park side of the hotel and I appreciated that.

where I appreciated the upgrade and honesty of staff, the overall condition of the room we had could use some updating to the carpet and closet doors/track. One suggestion is that a little more deep cleaning could be given to the corners and the bottom of the bathtub.

Breakfast was AMAZING, great selection, especially to be complimentary. Perfect location for Bush Gardens. All staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful.

Beds could be a little more comfortable and the sliding glass door accessing bathroom was weird. It didn't feel safe, door kept coming off of track. Door literally fell over on me. It was very scary situation especially since door was very heavy and with glass from mirrors. Plus has no lock on inside of bathroom.

Clean, spacious room. Updated well maintained overall. Breakfast was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff, went above and beyond to provide for our requests. We will recommend to our friends and family….

Neighborhood. A little scary, with what appeared to be homeless people. Although we suffered no incidents or encounters, it was a bit unsettling; especially with my young granddaughters. There is nothing I feel the hotel could be faulted for, but it does detract from the hotel.

It was right across from Busch Gardens. And they had a shuttle that took us.

The morning breakfast could of been a little better but I understand that pandemic was still a problem.
