Seascape Resort & Marina

I don’t know where I begin !!!! AMAZING 🙌🏻 super clean , calm , quiet , relaxing place , I can’t explain you have to experience it , the staff beyond than helpful. The lady at the front desk were super attentive. I am in love with this place. I’m super picky when it comer to rent for vacations and I nailed it this time better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at the Fl Keys. Highly recommended!!!!!!

to be honest it was perfect even a tiny detail.

This property is right on the ocean. It has a sandy area right at the shore but no beach. There is a place to launch kayaks and paddle boards from so i suppose you could take a dip there. They have lounge chairs and a hammock for you to use. Right before you get to the sandy area, they have a really nice pool with plenty of lounge chairs. There is also a dock area with Adirondack chairs to hang out on and watch the waves. I really enjoyed watching the resident iguanas over by the sea wall. The staff was really nice and helpful with dining recommendations and directions to the local beach.

Honestly, I liked everything. I guess if I had to say, it would have been nice to have the beach right there, but the pool more than made up for it.

Wow! where to start. This place is magical. We wanted somewhere to stay for 1 night to explore the Keys and wanted a hotel halfway down. we found it hard selecting somewhere because all the hotels seemed really expensive for something quite basic. We found the reviews & price of Seascape to be the best balance in the end. We found our experience there to be way better than what we expected. The manager at the desk was so nice and lovely character and because we arrived just before sunset recommended the perfect restaurant 8 mins up the road (Sunset Grill) where lots of people go to see the sun set into the ocean. We just got there in time to see a stunning sunset & had a great meal. The Seascape Resort room was amazing and our room was called the Beach House and it was a bungalow looking directly out to the sea where you could watch the pelicans diving into the water. It was super clean, beautifully laid out & spacious with 2 King beds (might have been Queen). We were excited to see the sunrise the following morning & although that morning there was a little bit of cloud on the horizon that blocked the sun from coming out of the water it was still like a little bit of heaven. The pelicans were having a party and the whole view really was something out of this world. Another lady sitting on a Sun lounger watching it had previously stayed there and had travelled down early just to experience it again. She said (and confirmed by the manager) that most weeks you can see Manatees and Dolphins swimming around too. there was a nice pool & you can take the free kayak out whenever you wish. Same goes for the free bikes and there were super clean large BBQ and outside sofas, lighting that means you can just have your own little BBQ party if you wanted. Highly highly recommended!

I liked the room, it was very pleasant, the bed was super comfortable and the room had good amenities. I also liked that the hotel offered to take the kayaks, bikes, board games, chairs and parasole needed to go to the beach without extra cost. The pool was awesome!

The coffee maker in the room could use an upgrade, in the office area there was a more modern machine that we used, but still, I like a cup of coffee early in the morning. I was also disappointed that the ocean/sea was not accessible from the hotel. The hotel has a beach and the access to the water is for the kayaks or boats from the piers, but not for swimming.

When we arrived, I discovered that the accommodation I had reserved did not have a kitchenette which would have made it difficult or impossible for us to cook our own evening barbeque meals, one of the attractions of seaside living in a warm environment. The receptionist, Andy, magically changed our accommodation to what I should have reserved! Thank you, Andy! She also gave us excellent advice about fish and other produce supplies and things to do beyond Marathon, in Key West. This small marina resort on the Atlantic side of Marathon has just about everything one might want on site but also is ideally placed to visit local attractions such as the Dolphin Research Centre and the Turtle Hospital. A thoroughly enjoyable 3-night stay!

Having to leave.

I love how they resolved the issue of us being late and unable to check in properly by leaving a note on the door on where we could find the key and that we could check in the next day. The house itself was cosy and pleasant and we had a view on both the beach as well as the pool. There were cups for our drinks, possibility to make coffee and tea and a fridge. Everything was properly cleaned before arrival. I absolutely loved the wild life around. I spotted 5 iguanas, 2 pelicans and a bunch of small birds. Moreover, it is a nice and quiet area, perfect for relaxation.

We did notify that we were going to be late through booking, but we didn't receive a confirmation of our notification being read. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect!

location and view; excellent amenities, even wine is complimentary. Pleasant and helpful staffs. Andy always great me with a smile. Got kayaks, nice deep pool for lap swimming. bike. fire pit. Ice machines. Hammock, swing chairs. All equipment in working order. 7 minutes to Publix. They DON’T charge low rate then nickel and dime you for everything. The grounds are well maintained every day. We stayed in December for 5 days in sea view room with kitchen and use grill to heat our food . This place is for people who like tranquility and nature. I am able to swim at the small beach with a life vest. Sombrero beach is 10 minutes by car .

Just minor suggestions, not negative . Mark the room light switch in hallway by mirror . Long vertical mirror for ladies . Trash container outside room should be relocate . Staff do take it every day though. For first timer , iron can be requested at front desk. Make sure to ask for policy before booking to see if you can abide by the long list of rules before booking. Wish Florida recycle.

A secluded and laid-back escape. There were so many seating areas to relax and just take in the beauty around you—Adirondack chairs out on the dock, a glider on the lawn, picnic tables, a hammock, pool pounders, and patio seating around a fire pit in the back…just to name a few! I also really appreciated that (unlike hotel chains) there was no “resort fee” to enjoy everything the property had to offer (bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, etc).

The bed was a bit squeaky, like the sounds of a vinyl mattress cover maybe? And with the airport close by there was a lot of small airplane and military helicopter noise. And the people staying upstairs from me were kind of loud, so if you’re sensitive to upstairs neighbors noises, maybe opt for a room that doesn’t have anyone above it. Otherwise, it was just about perfect!

private beach, views, pool, kayaks, manatees everything!

Staff didn’t clean room or make up bed daily. But that wasn’t a game changer

Very convenient - right out of the room was the well maintained pool, small beach area. free kayaks and boards located right by the water. enough seating by the pool and outdoors for all guests. it is very close to stores and a larger beach.

very small bathroom and no central air. the window units kept the place very cool but the one in the bedroom was loud. Also, while not an issue for us, there is a steep set of stairs to the upstairs rooms- we didn’t expect it and if you have problems ambulating stairs - not the room for you.
