Courtyard by Marriott Faro Blanco Resort

The hotel staff, especially the younger ones, were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The young bartender at the Tiki Bar provided excellent poured drinks. The pre-mixed daiquiris were AWFUL and the older gentleman bartender really watered down the drinks he served. The breakfast bar staff were friendly and helpful, too, as were the desk staff. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and our room, although we continue to be puzzled by rooms that are designed for 2 people that have only one comfortable chair and ottoman. Two people need two places to sit comfortably...logically. We especially enjoyed our time by the pool, sitting in the wonderful breeze while sipping and reading. We'd go back!

The Tiki Bar was a true disappointment. For the $30/day resort fee, the beverages (at $14 even during happy hour!) should have been top drawer, but they definitely were not. The pre-mixed daiquiris were AWFUL and the older gentleman bartender really watered down the drinks he served.

The bar at the pool is not a real restaurant. a property like this must have a good restaurant it’s unacceptable to dine with plastic glass and fork/knife

The location. The property was amazing, especially the pool and beach area overlooking the water. The bonfires were great - perfect for the sunset. The hammocks and other seating by the water were very nice.

The front desk staff (both day time and night time) were very disappointing - never smiled; were not warm, friendly or welcoming. Some of the staff were very friendly such as the housekeeping staff and the Blue Waters staff.

Pretty much everything. It was a fabulous stay. Delicious food, wonderful staff, great spacious room with pool and ocean view. Resort fee extras. Loved the laundry room and husband enjoyed the gym!! Boys loved the nightime swimming in the outdoor heated pool. The outdoor play activities were also a hit.

No direct beach access for the children but we knew that before booking. Just a mention for those looking for a beach hotel.

Our room was very spacious and we did have a view of the ocean but did not have a balcony. The pools were very nice and it was nice to be able to have a snack/meal and/or cocktail by the pool. The breakfast was very good as well.

The drinks were mediocre and the food was just ok. The bathroom by the pool needs to be cleaned and/or renovated or painted, seemed a bit run down. The $30 per day resort fee that you could get waived if you spent $30 is a bit confusing and we ended up many days just buying snacks and junk food in the market to make it up. I appreciate they allow you to get reimbursed however.

The property is directly on the water. It is also in the middle of a lot of places to eat or activities. We walked almost everywhere.

It was very relaxing. The staff was super friendly, the pools were never over-crowded.

The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the sea. The pool areas were nice. Everything was very clean and the staff very friendly especially at the bar and pool area.

First, the name of the hotel is confusing Faro Blanco is next door and where we stayed it just says Courtyard by Marriott! Second, over priced! When receiving the bill there is a charge for self parking of $15.00@ day +tax, add on a daily destination fee of $30.00 +tax

My room had no view though I paid for it but the manager helped with that

I'm 64. I watch you tube and the tv volume varies. I got a call from the desk to keep it down, our neighbors with teenagers was complaining.

Room pool they provided chairs and cooler very convenient
