Comfort Inn University Gainesville

Rooms: Clean, well appointed, comfortable bed Breakfast: Better than most and unlike many hotels they kept it well stocked all they way until the end Staff: Very kind, friendly and helpful Pool: Older pool but it was clean and had chairs and loungers Location: Very convenient for restaurants and shopping, immediate area was quiet and felt safe Special extras: I liked how this hotel was decorated with local pictures it makes it feel like a special stay in Gainesville and not like you could be at a chain hotel just anywhere. They also do cookies and popcorn in the afternoon and have coffee and ice water available all day. I’ve stayed a lot of hotels in this price range and this is one of the few I’d recommend to friends and family without hesitation. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Gainesville.

It was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay again. We are visiting with my brother in law in the Malcom Randall VA Hospital. When I told them why we were there, they said our next booking with them directly be eligible for 20% hospital discount. The staff was excellent!!! The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Did not have breakfast. The room was wonderful, spacious clean inviting. The bed was delightful. I really liked the room . The host at the front desk was really informative about restaurants in the area . She told us about a great restaurant called 4 Rivers for bbq it was super.

clean, awesome staff. clean rooms, comfortable beds, lots of pillows. breakfast was great.

garbage cans are very small. shower head was a little hard to use for non handicapped. toilet paper was almost out, had to get more from the front desk.

The location was fantastic, close to the highway. Breakfast bar was nice, offered packaged muffins danish which was Covid appropriate. Spacious room.

The freezer needed to be defrosted the entire freezer opening was iced over. The toilet seat was not secure, did not stay in place- moved when sitting down/getting up, it is unsafe. Also the toilet seat did not fit the toilet it as it was round in shape, the toilet was oval!

Staff was very attentive and helpful and accommodating with our problem. Room was spacious and comfortable. Loved having a little kitchenette type area with sink, cabinets, microwave and small fridge. Complimentary breakfast was small but nice. Very convenient location. Close to everything... Target, Publix and tons of restaurants. Not a far drive to UF campus.

We did have a leak in our room.

The size of the room was amazing. I love the tub. It was so big. over all the room was very clean and big. The bed was very comfortable. The peace was also enjoyable.

The price of the room for one night was a little pricy. they do not provide a good breakfast selection for the price you pay to say here. If your looking for a room to relax and get away its a good place but if your looking for quality for the price you pay I would look at other options as well.

Room was clean. Bed was super comfy. The staff were very nice and made it easy to rebook extra days. Popcorn and cookies in the lobby. I will definitely stay there again if I need a hotel in the area.

It was very clean, relaxing, and the staff was really friendly!

We had the jet tub in our room. The only complaint would be to make sure the tub was cleaner. The tub was clean just the jets wasn’t as clean as I’d like!

Best location near Celebration complex! Nice shady location. Small pool but nice. Popcorn and cookies available in the afternoon. Nice staff.
