The Winston Solvang

We arrived on a day where a farmer’s market was happened right downstairs from our location. It was marvelous and we enjoyed the few stands available. We should have made a note to ourselves that many stores closed early, but we made it up the following day by exploring soon after breakfast. The easy check-in without staff made us feel more at home. We loved the showers too, it has great water pressure and good heat control.

When we requested the balcony room I thought we were going to have a view of the streets and stores, but instead we had a view of the parking lot. Still a great place stay.

Very luxurious and beautifully decorated rooms in a fantastic location. Despite being in the middle of the town, it was very quiet at night, so a good sleep was had.

The 'invisible service' offered by the hotel means that there are no staff at hand - even for check in. Instead they send you a pin code, via text/email message. That worked OK for our American friends, but the message didn't reach my non-US phone (you need the pin to use the WiFi, to get the pin!). Luckily a member of staff happened to be in the hotel as we were panicking outside and could help us, but we would not have been able to access the hotel otherwise. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend to international travellers.

It was charming, nicely appointed, centrally located, very quiet and comfortable with easy access. Also dog friendly.

it seems the price was a little high given you had to make your own bed and take out the trash (cans were tiny).

Perfectly located in the heart of Solvang, beautiful and HUGE double king suite. Honor bar system with stuff we actually wanted and didn’t want to have to leave the property to go and get. Comfortable beds and products and smart TVs for easy log in to my personal choices for TV and movies. This will be someplace I stay at moving forward when I go to visit Solvang.

My only issue was a motion sensor thing which still not sure why or what it was for but the lights were so bright and digital LG room temp controls I had to put a towel over it but this is literally my issue with lights and being a sensitive sleeper.

Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Great location, plenty of parking, and everything was very clean. It was actually quite nice not to have to wait in a line to check in too.

Would have been lovely to have windows with some sort of view/more natural light considering the price.

I loved everything about the property it was extremely comfortable and the parking was very easy. I didnt know how I would like not having a receptionist but it worked extremely well. they have everything so organized so it was very easy..

Awesome, modern decor in a cute building. Centrally located. Easy contactless entry.

we normally like having an in-hotel restaurant or cafe or gift shop for forgotten supplies, but honestly this is so close to much restaurants and stores this wasn’t a factor.

Very clean rooms and adjoining spaces, well designed

It would be great to put a few bottles of water in each room - also to put clean water in the coffee maker and tea pot

Wow! what an amazing place! the room is incredible and with everything you need.

we struggled a bit with the self service at the beginning and it was difficult to get in since they don’t have a front desk.

wow our room was amazing! it had a big bed and a lovely bathroom.
