Hilton Garden Inn Clovis

The staff was outstanding from the moment I walked into the lobby until the morning I left. They went out of their way to see that the stay was comfortable and convenient. The higher level of curiosity and friendliness was refreshing during the post-Covid-19 travel experience. To all at Hilton Garden Clovis: Thank you! Job Well done.

The furnishings in the room was a bit shop-worn and dated but clean and in good repair.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. The lobby was clean and inviting. The property seemed to be well maintained and it was in a nice location.

The closet door in the room was badly broken. The bathtub looked like it came out of a cheap motel…very worn. Gummy bears were in several locations (atop a lamp, a picture, door sill etc.) throughout our room which leads me to believe our room was NOT cleaned thoroughly after the previous guest vacated the room, despite the signs touting how our room was thoroughly sanitized and cleaned.

The hotel was in a goog location. The service from staff was friendly. They manage to fulfill my requests. The room was comfortable and quiet. They had a little store with food, beverages, etc. They offered a couple of convenient options our breakfast.

I really received more than I expected, wouldn't change anything.

Everything was awesome about the hotel. Staff and comfort was excellent.

I did not like that they had no parking lot security, even though there was a Hilton Security guard vehicle sitting in the parking lot. End result was someone vandalized our vehicle by cutting off the catalytic converter in the parking lot.

Desk clerk had a more expensive price for me in their system than was quoted to me by booking.com. At first she did not want to change it but after much discussion made the adjustment. Not sure what caused the problem but she was slow to make it right. Breakfast was expensive but appeared of good quality. We passed.

Overpriced breakfast. No menus offered. Went to Denny's down the street.

Offer a selection of breakfast items. Everything overpriced at $12.00. If you ordered 2 eggs only ($12.00). If you ordered one piece of toast ($12.00). If you ordered an omelet with potatoes, bread ($12.00). No matter what you ordered, it was $12.00. I said forget this. Went down the street to Denny's Restaurant for breakfast. Much better.

The property was very clean and the location was very close to Fresno State University.

The room was bigger than I thought. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed it was very firm and the pillows were too small. They could use nicer bedding and much bigger pillows.

Close to Cal State Fresno. There is a restaurant, though it was not operational due to COVID. There are newspaper available in the lobby (not on Sunday though), and the coffee in the room was K-cup.

Terrible view from our room of HVAC system on the roof. The lighting was abysmally dim. I found a hair in the bath tub (not mine). The rooms were not nearly as nice as the common areas. No morning paper on Sunday (really?). Not really walkable to anything because it's on a very busy street.

The staff is soooo awesome! Great, great! Both the check-in guy and the check-out guy thd following morning!!!!

The breakfast was 1&.00, we thought it was included.
