The Inn on Pine

Customer service was impeccable. Inn on the Pine is a charming little place to stay. It has, in its recent past, gone through renovation and the room, breakfast area, and pool area are clean, fresh and well looked after. The little extras - like cookies, fruit and filtered water - tea (of all sorts - which important to us Brits - stereotypical I know but true!) coffee, robes and towels for the pool, and drawers of board games to play - all a lovely touch. You of course could stay at the more swanky places in Calistoga but I would save your money and book here, a gem of a place for budget and good old school hosting and treat yourself to a wine tasting instead. The receptionist Gary who welcomed us treated us to the most genuine, warmest of welcomes - customer service wise the best we have had in a long time. So much so, if Gary was visiting the UK I would invite him and his wife to dinner at our home!

Our experience at the Inn on Pine was amazing! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The location is in the middle of a neighborhood, surrounded in tress and extremely peaceful and quiet. Exactly what I was looking for. The property exceeded my expectations. A delicious continental breakfast was served daily along with freshly baked oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon! Filtered water & community fireplace available. The pool and jacuzzi was private, clean and warm. Pool towels and ROBES were also provided. What more can I say?! A wonderful place to stay!!

Everything at The Inn On Pine was beyond amazing. The pool area was beautiful, the beds were really comfortable, and the buffet breakfast had many delicious choices. The service was exceptional and we loved that we could stay around the pool area for the day once we had checked out of the rooms, it made our stay feel longer and we could relax in the beautiful setting for some extra time. Val was very helpful with everything. The location was perfect as it was super close to the town but also tucked in its own quiet corner with a lovely view of the vast mountain range. We cannot fault our time here and would love to visit again in the future!

Room 6 King is the only one detached from other structures so no shared walls which was a treat. Good thoughtful features in room: glass mugs and tumblers, fridge, microwave, outlets and ports on bed lamps, spacious bathroom, refillable toiletries, jacuzzi tub, recycling bin in room, good size TV, dining chairs and table in kitchen nook, bistro table and chairs on porch outside room, fresh continental buffet breakfast (cereal, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, pastries and bread) with real utensils in a cozy covered patio, nice pool/hot tub area, clean sauna room, friendly personable Heather checked us in. Location in lovely quiet corner of Calistoga, yet a short walk to restaurants and shops in town. Very happy we discovered this inn.

Some minor issues in room that we noted and gave to the desk person at checkout. Overall, a fine stay.

Spent our honeymoon here, on a whim. Booked the room last minute. The staff was nice from check in to check out, very hospitable. The room was spacious, the wood burning stove gave a cozy feeling. My husband and I liked that it was kinda hidden, away from a busy street. Cute little patio table and chairs in front of your room, though it was too cold for us to use. They do however have an outdoor patio (covered), with a wood burning stove. We had complimentary coffee and cookies out there in the evening.

The parking was a bit small for our vehicle, but we made due. No complaints really.

It was so cute. Old school kinda/sorta like cabins or bungalows nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature’s beautiful trees. It was very clean. Breakfast was more than I expected and the afternoon chocolate chip cookies was such a nice treat.

I liked the property. It’s not fancy, but it’s very comfortable, clean, and in a nice low key area of Calistoga.

The staff member Val is Really pleasant and Very helpful. She greeted us with a smile and really made our stay special. We stayed two nights in a queen room with a Spa tub for two. The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Fresh fruit, yogurts, assorted breads/bagels , boiled eggs, coffee/teas served on the covered patio each morning with a fireplace...Nice. A large pool area out back with a in ground pool and Hot Tub and a dry sauna. Val brings large pool towels and nice robes to your room for you to use. There was a bistro style table and chairs on the porch, however no table or chairs in the room. We Really enjoyed the Inn on Pine and Highly recommend a stay. The location is in a Very quiet neighborhood, one block from all the downtown restaurants and shops.

That we couldn't stay longer!

From our check in with Valerie, who was so kind and friendly, to finding a sweet anniversary card and yummy chocolates, to the daily breakfast buffet, to the easy walk to town, to the quiet evenings and lovely pool area, every single point was perfect. I’m generally very picky, so the fact that I was so happy with everything, should count for double. The rooms are immaculate, the toiletries were very high end and the staff was helpful and happy. We will absolutely stay here again!

They have a nice outdoor, covered breakfast area that is a nice place to spend time in addition to small tables outside the rooms. The breakfast options are good. The manager is very energetic and helpful. The location is great, just a couple blocks off the main street and very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a basic queen bed room which was small. It wasn't horrible but being bigger would have been nice. I reserved the room months ago for Memorial Day Weekend so I don't remember the cost differential between our room and a larger room but I would probably opt for a larger room if I stayed here again.

Val the manager was so nice and accommodating. She was on call the entire time and provided excellent service. The treats and breakfast were very nice on their patio with the lovely fireplace. The property was very nice and excellently located close to the quaint town of Calistoga. They also put together and impromptu wine tasting for Friday evening of our stay and that was very nice.

The bathroom could be updated as the sink was cracked.
