Small dinner main menu, A little more main meal choice would be nice, okay for one or two days but not longer!. Excellent service staff best of the best. *House keeping kitchen, Day two, Ran out of fruit for breakfast! Day four, ran out of white bread for breakfast! *Bedroom House keeping Extractor fan in bathroom not working, (should have been reported by house keeping!.)not me! No milk in room on arrival (plenty of tea and coffee!) poor!. Coffee replaced in room daily , but never the milk! Very Poor! Ran out of soaps second day, ‘not’ replaced had to ASK on day four! Shower grubby around the bottom!. (will get worse if never cleaned properly). House keeping needs retraining or someone else in charge?

The room was larger than I was expecting. Everything looked and felt new and clean. The beds were really comfy, and the air conditioning really helped to stay cool during the night. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station, or a two minute walk to the nearest bus stop. There was a restaurant downstairs open during the day, as well as a supermarket close by.

There’s no lift, so it is not accessible and hard to carry heavy luggage upstairs. I had breakfast there every day and dinner once because it’s the only restaurant in walking distance - breakfast was more reasonably priced than London, but overall the food was really bland, e.g. I ordered a sausage bap and it was literally just sausages on a bun without any extras/sauce. I always ordered tea in the morning; sadly the teapot didn’t keep the tea warm.

Close to Truro College. Good sized room, comfy bed, good shower (with elemis products), plenty of quality tea and coffee in room. Desk was very useful we had lots of work to do whilst away. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't get to avail of the garden area as the weather was so poor. Ate in the bar every evening - quality and selection of food was good. Plenty of parking.

Sadly breakfast wasn't included in the price. Struggled with the WiFi.

Rooms at rear had fabulous views and so I paid to upgrade to one of these for two of my three night stay (the car park view not so nice!) Comfortable, good tea coffee facilities in room. Brewery owned so able to access food and eat in lovely pub. The breakfast was really delicious with some of the best eggs royale ive eaten. Staff very lovely :) 10 min walk to train station and 20min walk to Truro centre.

Easy to find, with plenty of parking. The pub / hotel looks over a small valley and the view is wonderful. The room was plenty big enough for us and it was very clean. The bar / restaurant was lovely - beautifully decorated - and the staff most helpful. We ate dinner (lasagne and small fish and chips) and the portions were very generous. The food was excellent - so tasty. We also had a full English breakfast on the morning of departure (£10) which was well worth the money. Again, it was very tasty and a very generous portion. We would definitely stay again if visiting Truro.

Extractor fan in bathroom is on continuously even if the light is off - the noise was annoying during the night. On our 2nd night, we actually took the room key out of the slot so we had no electric during the night = no extractor fan noise. The bed was a tad soft for my liking but that's a small annoyance.

Whole place was clean, great breakfast and dinner. Excellent parking and convenient location. I will look forward to stay again as overall everything was excellent.

Room felt sparse on arrival, it was comfortable and clean and had everything required but furniture was sparse it was a big room could have done with a sofa or comfy chair to 'soften' the feel of the room. This didn't spoil my stay it felt functional not comfortable, this was fine as I was there for work however if I was staying on holiday or for an event it felt unwelcoming. It would not stop me returning as it was a great size room.

It was the perfect base for us to explore mid Cornwall. We used the train and buses to avoid driving. The room was spacious with plenty of clothing storage. We enjoyed out meals in the restaurant ( especially the Sunday carvery!) The staff were excellent.

If we had to be picky it was a bit traffic noisy so we didn’t have our window open. Having said that we knew it was on a main road when we booked.

the hotel has everything you would want , lovely food view the room we had was lovely and big , the town was 5 mins in a car and they have a supermarket right by them for all you need

the one thing I will say is … you pay that much money for the stay and breakfast is not included which is odd for me The bar and restaurant closed at 11pm and you really has to go to your room or get out from that area and nowhere else to go unless to go out the door to town I think it needs a little updating and deep clean in the room our chairs had all dust in the edges and the skirting boards was dusty too , maybe a busy weekend but still .

Check in was a good experience, gave my name and the very cheerful lady sorted me out, asking if I needed dinner etc. The room facilities were good, good sized bottle of water in a well sized room. Room was getting a little tired, good sized TV and good Wifi. Breakfast was excellent, good coffee and cooked breakfast. Loved the free newspapers being around too.

Room furniture and bathroom, starting to tire but all still operating well. Checkout in the morning via a different person, was less engaging but still friendly enough.

The hotel had ample parking and was easy to find, reception staff was polite and friendly. Our double room has exceeded my expectations as was quite big and had a sitting corner, which added to homely feeling. Bed was quite large and comfortable, while bathroom had nice quality toiletries and plenty of towels.

It would have been good to have breakfast included in the price as I believe the price for the room was on a higher side. I would also recommend to install power sockets by bedside tables as it is quite uncomfortable having to charge your mobile on the other side of the room. A little recommendation to cleaners as well - dust settles much more on walls painted with silk paint, especially of dark colours and our walls had a well visible coat of dust.
