Lovely hosts. Welcoming pre-arrival message from Bev, Chris was an absolute mine of local knowledge and information each day at breakfast. Nice quiet location with a view over countryside and part of Falmouth harbour from our room. Nice clean room with very comfortable bed. Good breakfast to set us up each day.

Quite a high step-up into the corner shower which we found a bit awkward. Not able to get the towels fully dry in between daily showers, hence a musty odour unless we left the bathroom door open for the day while we were out. Very squeaky floorboard, making it difficult not to disturb my sleeping partner on occasions I had to pay a call during the night.

The most amazing and attentive hosts, we really felt welcome. Lovely breakfast served daily, the rooms were spacious enough and clean, with this lovely rustic charm. There are ponies too (outside of course)! Incredible location, so easy to get around Cornwall, whether you're sightseeing or just need to get to the nearby towns, you won't be disappointed. For the price, you won't do any better and you will absolutely love your stay.

Shower is a little small, if you're 5 months pregnant you might struggle a little 😅 Definitely not a deal breaker though

Excellent breakfast cooked to order by the host. Very friendly welcome and the host Chris was very knowledgeable and interesting about the local area. Comfortable bed, plenty of on site parking, great situation close to Falmouth and surrounding villages. Lovely big bathroom with lots of hot water in shower.

It would have been nice to have some bedside tables as we found there was a lack of places to put things in the room.

Was very quiet. Easy to access multiple walking trails via car. Hosts where lovely, informative and welcoming. I personally don't like the busyness and forced formality of big hotels. So it was the perfect choice for me. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a weekend away, near Falmouth. If you want a laid back "family home" like setting. This is the perfect choice.

The layout of the B&B rooms and the dining room were excellent. Also guests can come and go when they need to through their own exit door which was very helpful. The owners were so welcoming, will definitely stay there again.

Honestly I can’t think of anything negative.

We felt very welcome at this b&b and both Chris and Bev did their level best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It’s an ideal location from which to explore the surrounding area. There’s a lovely coastal walk directly from the property along to Flushing. What we particularly enjoyed was being in such a green, tranquil area.

Penryn itself didn’t quite live up to our expectations.....we thought it was going to be more of a quaint Cornish town. In fact it has a busy main road running through the centre with poor provision of pavements.(Thankfully there are other pedestrian routes that can be taken down into town from the property, but it’s an uneven path.) But I must add that Penryn did have some redeeming features in that there’s a nice selection of places to eat!

Bay View is a lovely quaint bed and breakfast with very friendly owners. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Location is close to Penryn town but in a quiet peaceful setting with great views. We were well looked after with loads of local information and a well stocked refreshments bag.

We were welcomed outside on our arrival & shown to our room which was clean tidy and had all we needed for our 1 night stay. We didn't get to take in the view from room as we left when it was still dark in the morning. We also were gone before breakfast,which was a shame. We would have no second thoughts about staying at the Bay View again if we were in Penryn,would like to sample the breakfast.

There was nothing negative with the stay,parking space was great.

The solitude and quietness, safe parking and a warm welcome by the owners and plenty of tea, coffee and milk.

the shower was slippy underfoot could warrant a rubber bathmat.

Hosts Chris and Bev were fantastic, Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable about all there is to know about Cornwall. Breakfast was cooked to order, which was taken the previous day, so you got everything you asked for. Room was clean. Free parking.
