Exquisite decor, warm and cosy. Lovely staff, great breakfast buffet.

Loved the family three level however with a toddler it’s hard work. No place to sit and dry hair. Only option was to sit on the floor in bedroom as cord on the dryer was too short to stand with it, all while holding the wardrobe door open for the mirror - not fun every morning.. unable to sit on the bed as you can’t see the mirror from there - we tried it all. No plug for dryer in bathroom near the mirror either. Needed coat hooks downstairs for jackets. Other than that - lovely toiletries, good coffee, excellent bed and linen. Friendly staff, great area! We can’t wait to come back!

Very nice location, easy to access by car. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent with a good choice.

The spa is nice with a swimming pool, hamam and sauna. The system of having to ask staff to lock the lockers in the men’s changing room is strange (i.e. once you changed you need to ask staff to lock the locker for you, and they will accompany you to the changing room to open the locker when you finish, whilst other guests are getting changed). The dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was not very good, especially the starters (portions are too big and the food was rather bland); the coffee that my wife ordered was lukewarm warm when it arrived.

Great facilities / Great bedroom / Nice bar area and beautiful outdoor terrace / gardens. Good spa facilities with indoor and outdoor pool.

Cowley Manor is a gorgeous place! Loved the funky decor and that it feels modern and not at all stuffy. The spa facilities are divine - the view from the indoor pool is stunning and I had a lovely treatment. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, We loved our room, especially the bath! Wish we could have stayed for more than one night.

The only negative was that we tried to reach the spa several times before our visit and couldn’t get through. We were told twice by reception that someone from the spa would call back but no one did. Luckily I was able to book a treatment online but unfortunately my partner wasn’t. Definitely book treatments online and well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Relaxing and caring atmosphere. Great spa, was never crowded. Beautiful pool. Good food with good portions. Very caring people, at reception, bar, restaurant and spa. Welcoming and kind. Beautiful gardens to walk, with boots available. Great rooms and facilities. Will definitely go back.

Heated outside pool not warm. Restaurant prices shown without tax, until the bill comes (not big deal, just never saw it in UK before).

Absolutely stunning house, rooms, spa and grounds. Decor really cool and worked well- modern twist on old house. Food was amazing - we had the sharing Cote de Boeuf- and we enjoyed having a low key burger and cocktails in the bar the second night. The spa was bliss- beautiful swimming pools, steam room, gym, and treatments were excellent. Our room was spacious, beautiful, bed extremely comfortable, and well stocked with goodies. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had the best time.

The Spa was lovely though fully booked for treatments - so book well in advance of your visit. Breakfast was delicious, buffet generous and interesting, cooked breakfast perfectly prepared. Staff very friendly, not pretentious.

The tea was too fancy...weak despite everyone's efforts to make a strong cup of tea! The duvet was too hot - too high a tog value The bed was huge which is lovely but not supportive enough - I felt it move every time my husband moved....

An amazing location and welcome, the property was gorgeous and the furnishings and facilities were great. Highly recommend the spa and pool. We had a brilliant room allocation and it was spacious and comfortable and clean. Decorated highly and very sympathetic to the hotel.

I feel the quick change in the weather left the building a little colder than it would have been normally.
