Burnham Beeches Hotel

The food was exceptional. Everything that was served was premium quality. Also, both restaurant and brasserie rooms were nicely designed and the style was perfectly balanced. The staff was very accommodative and friendly to us and our children. Our little girl loved the waitress Sara, who was very kind to her. I was impressed by how clean everything was. We travelled with two kids, who both crawled and rolled on the floor. The floors were so clean everywhere. Also the rooms were perfectly clean. I am very fussy about the standard of cleaning and usually I notice a lot Of dirt in the hotels. But this place was up to my standard. Well done to the hotel staff. We will definitely come to stay with you again.

This is a great hotel set on stunning grounds. The buffet-style breakfast is one of the best that I have experienced at this type of hotel. Well cooked meats with a great choice of pastries and fruit. The pool and spa facilities were always clean, quite and well equipped. Ian, the manager of the hotel provided 5* service throughout our stay. We had two minor issues on arrival, the details not necessary but happy to provide upon request. Were dealt with in a friendly manor within 25 minutes of arrival and as a courtesy complimentary drinks were provided. This is great service. Thank you Ian and the wider team for a great stay, you made the days competing at our world championships very calm and enjoyable.

The suite we booked was very spacious with a sitting area, big bathroom and big bedroom. The bed was comfortable. Somewhat weirdly, the freestanding bathtub is situated in the sitting room, behind a short wall. The building and grounds are really nice to look at. Staff were very friendly, especially the restaurant staff. The breakfast was nice, with a buffet plus a menu including a few vegan friendly options.

A few small things were in need of care/repair e.g. the light fixtures flickered due to old wiring and dimmer switch (somebody was sent to take a look, but it only temporarily helped). The music in the reception area was very loud.

Beautiful period home set in relaxing grounds. A bit tricky to find, but when we got there we felt to have arrived in a very special place. Room was comfortable, the air conditioning was working and that was a bonus because it was a very warm night and the room was on the top floor of the modern part of the hotel.

It was not possible to leave the car in the hotel car [ark for a few days, not even by paying a fee. It is a missed opportunity since it is quite close to Heathrow airport.

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff as always. This is our third stay. I’ve been bringing my daughter for a little spa experience here since she was 6. We can stay by the pool till 10 if wanting too. Room is lovely and clean and spacious. Breakfast is great. Never tried the main restaurant but looks great. Also offers afternoon tea. We always enjoy getting our spa robe and slippers and heading down to pool area with gym, jacuzzi and sauna We will be back again soon

Absolutely stunning property, all the staff are wonderful and will go the extra length to make your stay the best, breakfast was delicious and was an option to be brought to your room, pool was wonderful and cool on a hot day, surrounding areas are wonderfully kept and love the fact you have a bees at work section, highly recommended, revived free late check out, can't ask for more

The room was very hot, though a strong fan was provided and there was a double sash window. It overlooked a noisy ventilation fan. The shower could not be turned up to a particularly high pressure without water flooding out onto the floor.

Setting was lovely, hotel was great, food (breakfast) was very good, very quiet and relaxing

The bottle of fizz I ordered for our arrival was not in the room for us, this was our honeymoon and I had to go back down to reception to ask for it. The dark brown laminate flooring in the corridor to the stairs was cheap and a little tired looking, apart from that all was good

Staff were so helpful. The receptionist was lovely (sorry I didn’t get her name). A member of staff showed me to my room and carried my case, staff couldn’t have done anymore! Breakfast was also great. Really good choice and quality.

There was a constant whirring noise outside my room which made it difficult to sleep and the room was very warm. Availability for spa treatments wasn’t good.

Beautiful setting, lovely character features. Free room upgrade - room was elegant and full of charm, high end toiletries, coffee machine in room. Check in staff were lovely - such a warm welcome. Quiet pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was fabulous.

Pool and jacuzzi area were pleasant and we enjoyed our time there, but it’s a bit tired and really needs an upgrade (especially changing rooms).
