lovely location easy access to both countryside / river walks and the town

bit warm in the room even with radiators turned off. Room 25 is disabled (don’t think we asked for this) with a wet room for the bathroom. when having a shower water goes across all floor and even went under door into main bedroom. Mentioned to staff and hopefully one they can easily rectify for future guests.

Great location within University campus. Easy walk to town by canal. Very modern. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was designed to enable visitors with physical disabilities to use it easily

Nowhere to hang a towel or any shower gel only a rail on the door and hand wash for the sink. If anyone staying did use a wheelchair the very heavy table on the accessible side if the bed would have been in the way. Very hot room, so the electric fan had to be used all night even with window open, which also meant the noise from the street was disturbing, especially at 6am on Sunday when an event was being set up- noise from customer cars and buses rather than stallholders.

Excellent modern hotel on the Campus. Clean, fresh, linens, and rooms. The room has almost everything needful, including a comfortable bed. The self-service buffet breakfast was very good indeed, with a wide selection of continental breakfast options and cereals. The security systems on the site and in the hotel were excellent, a key card is required to get beyond the Reception area into the hotel proper, and - coming back late at night a security man in the grounds just checked with us that we were hotel guests; I found this reassuring.

Very little - I couldn't fault the room, bathroom etc. The only thing I missed was a drawer - wardrobe/closet area was fine, but there wasn't a drawer to store small items, though that's hardly a "big deal" 😁

Very clean modern hotel. Right on the campus of the university so easy walking distance to the town centre - little traffic as on campus

The room was really really hot and could only open the window a very narrow gap. They did provide a standing fan in the room so I’m guessing they know this a problem but the fan was noisy so couldn’t have this on overnight for example. There was a confusion around breakfast. On the website it states breakfast included in room rate but book as room only so when I checked in I looked at my invoice and it stated room only - I had forgotten that breakfast was included so I did not have this the following morning, perhaps this should be made more clear at check in.

Plenty of free parking. Nice airy, bright, roomy, clean & comfortable room with free wi-fi. Once heating was turned on it was warm and easily adjustable. Soft large bath towels with nice smelling toiletries and a great pumped saucer shower in a bright & roomy shower cubicle, free tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of electrical points. Great selection of pastries. Complementary extended my stay by 1 hr.

A limited arrangements of cereal. The bathroom extractor was quite noisy and the bedroom curtains weren't blackout. Had to walk with luggage from car park to the hotel, would have been nice to drop it off first then park. There were two car park No 3. No bottled water to make tea/coffee and not sure if bathroom had drinking water. No floor mat to dry the splashes and shelf to close above the sink made it difficult to wash face after shaving without splashing water on the floor as the sink was quite narrow. No fridge in room.

First stay at this hotel. Super friendly greeting from reception on arrival. Room was modern, spotlessly clean with Tv, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, iron and hairdryer. Free parking. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The variety and quality of the food was superb. Staff at the restaurant also so friendly and helpful. 15 minute walk into town centre or 5 minutes by bus which stopped right next to hotel.

Checkin was 14.00 but room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived about 14.05. However, room was ready by 14.15 so not a problem.Reception apologised for delay and by way of compensation offered a free drink which was appreciated.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and to top it all all a very good price. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. The hotel is within University area but no disturbance while we were there. Very good breakfast in nearby University building. We have already recommend to friends as ideal stopover for visits North/ South

Directions by car could have been much clearer. Parking was not at all clear. I had to leave my car and walk 2-3 hundred meters to hotel reception for instructions as to where I could park. Just make it clear to use car park 3 and not be concerned about the barriers

It was clean, comfortable, and it was nice that they thought to place a fan in the room on the very hot night I slept there; very thoughtful. Staff were really nice, also at breakfast across the road.

The iron in the room was a bit dodgy. And having seen that toiletries would be provided, as advertised, I almost didnt take a toothpaste, thinking there would be a mini one I could use. Lucky I did, because there was none. Other than this, everything else was fine.

Very clean and great location. Staff were excellent. We had a room adapted for disabled, we are not so was a bit unusual. The breakfast on sire marvelous for 5 pounds and only a short walk to town center.

Room very hot, not temp control. We were woken by an elderly gent trying door several times at 5am. We could hear someone shouting him. We did not complain as he was obviously ill/ confused. Street cleaners at 7am then bus noise. This is all a one off.

Comfortable room, friendly staff who helped with a few queries, quiet outside given its on a university campus facing halls of residence. Nice, if slightly corporate decor and clean and well presented. Good accommodation for charging electric car.

Personally I wasn’t a fan of the pillows but this is just a personal preference and they seemed good quality. Shower is maybe just a bit tight to get in and out of if you’ve got poor mobility or have had a few drinks.
