Hampton By Hilton Liverpool City Centre

The staff were superb throughout the hotel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. My room was well furnished and comfortable for the most part. Breakfast was good - ample choice, and although busy, staff were doing a good job keeping on top of replenishing supply and clearing tables. And there was a takeaway option too which was a bonus. The Tesco express is ideally located next door, and the bus station was only a short walk.

I'm not a fan of glass sliders for a bathroom door - fine on a solo stay, but this design would deter me from staying with friends. And, there was no safe in the room - there is one at reception which guests can request to use. The noise from the road was intrusive when trying to work during the day (I was on a business trip). But I will ask for a different side of the building next time.

Location was what I wanted, between the city and the waterfront, pleasant walk to stations. Perfect for the Aintree horse races during Grand National week. Room fine and staff pleasant and efficient.

Breakfast was hectic and crowded. Food was good and varied but you had to request staff to replenish some items that ran out. Difficult to suggest how they could improve on that when the hotel was so full. It would take a major revamp of the dining area which is probably adequate when the hotel is less busy. Staff were helpful when requests to replenish items were made but perhaps they could show more vigilance in maintaining availability of foods and drinks.

The location was perfect for our needs and the parking was wonderful. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and were happy with our room, after the initial surprise of having no door to the bathroom. We were not expecting an open plan bed/bathroom and were not quite sure what to think of the positioning of a wall mirror which resulted in a clear view of the toilet from the bed! The breakfast was fine and we enjoyed the waffles in particular!

We would have been happier with a door for the bathroom or at least clear information about the lack of a door to the bathroom area prior to our booking.

The staff are friendly and courteous. The lady greeting us for breakfast in the mornings was especially helpful and caring. She really does deserve a best staff member award. The hotel location is perfect for visiting Beatle attractions and is central to everywhere being close to Albert Dock and city centre. The additional benefit is the hotel underground carpark. This is safe and secure and reasonably priced for a city location. You may not even need to move the car as it is easy to walk everywhere. Nothing is more than fifteen minutes walk away.

Absolutely nothing. Only the weather could spoil a stay at the Hampton by Hilton Liverpool.

Clean, comfy rooms. Location is excellent with only 5 minutes walk to Liverpool one.

Breakfast wasn’t as good as other Hilton’s we’ve stayed at but it wasn’t terrible. Long wait times at the bar with only one staff member working dealing with reception as well. The guy that checked us in and out could have been a bit more happier. Looked as though he didn’t want to be there. Car parking was a bit confusing with paying online prior and it not allowing us entry on arrival - will likely result in a parking charge. When checking out we had a £5 bar charge that couldn’t be explained by the receptionist(we didn’t charge anything to the room at all).

Friendly staff/ rooms cleaned every day/ easy to operate air conditioning/ reasonable breakfast / excellent position very close to conference facilities and other attractions.

--When I used the filter at Booking .com Hotels with Parking - this one came up. However after booking they told us the parking was £15/day - which adds to the per day cost. But they were transparent about the cost. Also this was a secure parking in the basement of the hotel which was convenient. -- at the check in it seemed that they did not have a record of my booking [ although I received emails from them] - there was some problem with the interface between the hotel and booking .com.

Everything!reception greeting us a warm welcome &the beds were comfortable &the hotel is right in the tourist area of Liverpool &right next to the dockside/ferry outings etc and loads of other stuff to do,lovely places to eat 😀 libby was amazing at reception,great asset to your hotel BTW 🏨 will be definitely back again sooner than later 😀

It would have been a 10 out of 10 for the staff but the kitchen staff were not organised with there breakfast service,people were all over the place,they should have some sort of one way system as it was a complimentary breakfast &only hot food was sausage/scrambled eggs &beans,&make your own waffles in the middle of the food at each side,it was a bit of a shambles but on the 5th we were 3 minutes late for breakfast &the ignorance of all the staff on the morning were rude &just ignored us when we seen them take the hot food through,we asked if we could have some &only one lady said we could get a ☕️ at the bar,as when we asked if they could close the coffee machine for us to get a ☕️,the staff then decided on selective hearing....

The location of the hotel, cleanliness of the overall space, and especially the room. Breakfast was great, with more than enough options and quality food. The beds were extremely comfortable, everything was really great and I would most certainly stay there again.

The breakfast area was maybe a bit too small, as it was pretty crowded there almost every morning. We expected that, the hotel clearly states at which time we could have expected crowds for breakfast, but still, this is a minor issue (or better yer, a suggestion, if anything could be done about it in the future).

The location was right near albert docks and all musems. Shopping centre within walking distance. Staff and managers avaliable 24 hours. Rooms was perfect. We was allowed to leave luggage at hotel even after our check out time and when we returned in evening to collect everything was kept safe in staff office. Also before heading to coach station to go back birningham, we was allowed 1 final hot drink and snacks. Our request for vegan sausages was dealt with quickly.

The variety of food options was limited but still very warm, filling but more options definitely needed for vegetarians abd vegans

The room was as advertised and was enough for our brief stay. It was comfortable and clean which is what matters most to me. We are a four people family with a kid, a teen - 186 cm tall - and two adults and, although for someone the room could be small, for us was good enough. At the end we just slept there while most of the time we were around visiting the city. The breakfast was really good with loads of different choices - they have a waffle cooker available that we enjoyed a lot! The location is close to Albert Dock and everything is within a 20 minutes walking distance. We will definitely choose it again in case we are going to Liverpool again.
