Henrys on the Prom0

Lovely room (room 6) with a great view out towards the pier and beach. The room had everything you could need, including extra little touches like a chalkboard and games console for the kids and a small fridge for any snacks you might need to keep chilled. The bunk beds are separate from the main bedroom area with a door that can be shut. Handy if you want them to get some sleep but you still want to stay up for a little longer without disturbing them. Yummy breakfast in the morning too. A very pleasant stay.

Fairly noisy at night but you'd expect that with its location right on the promenade There is a small lip/step between the main bedroom and bunk beds- although there is a warning sign, I kept forgetting! My fault, not theirs!

A superb family room and exceeded expectations. Really pleased with our family which consisted of two rooms linked together. The kids had bunkbeds and loved it. They had lovely touches like a chalk board, colouring books and a SEGA Megadrive all connected up. Really lovely hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Our host was lovely and very accommodating. Greeted us when we arrived and really looked after us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. This place is superb value for money and in the best location. We will 100% stay here again when we next visit. Thank you for looking after us.

Can't really fault anything, very pleased.

Fresh and tasty breakfast. The English breakfast was simple yet delicious and nutritious. We could also choose from tea and coffee as well as from apple- and orange juices. There were 3 kinds of cereals available with milk, some butter and jam.

Outside the room window was full of seagulls and they made a lot of noise constantly, even during the night which lead to us waking up several times. Furthermore, young people were also making quite a lot of noise despite our room not facing the street. The noises were especially loud when we opened the windows, however, when we kept the windows closed, the rooms became quite hot quickly as there was no AC available nor a pedestal fan provided on warmer days (summer.)

Lovely family run business. Really friendly and helpful. Lovely family room which had a seperate childrens bed room attached to main bedroom. The owner has thought carefully about all the little details and it was really clean and fresh..Lovely smell of washing powder on linen. Children loved the retro games console in the bedroom and books and blackboard to draw on too. Breakfast was tasty and we really enjoyed our stay in this lovely b and b in an excellent location in the heart of everything! Thank you.

There were no clocks in the room and it would have been helpful to have a clock to see the time. Blackout blinds were okay but a little bit of light still came in so maybe some extra curtains in addition to blind might help to block the light at side of blinds coming in to aid a better night's sleep.

Amazing family run business, super friendly and very accommodating. Loved the breakfast-this is made by order form and various options as per your liking. We stayed in room 6, highly recommended room for a family, had double and bunk bed, this room has a shower and bath. The balcony is an added extra with EXCELLENT views.

There really isn't anything we didn't like- only suggestion which we made was considering an option to pack/put folded clothes on/in. There is a wardrobe with hangers for hanging clothes and is spacious.

Fantastic location right on the promenade, lovely sea view, Alex couldn't of been more helpful and accompanying and so friendly too. Breakfast was really good including a kids breakfast for our little one which went down a storm and Alex looked after us including bringing out the kids breakfast as soon as it was ready so that we could get her settled before ours came out which meant we both actually got to eat some hot food! Definitely recommend staying here!

There was some noise from the pub opposite but it's to be expected if you stay on the promenade.

Loved all aspects of this hotel. Room had outstanding attention to detail and lots of thought put into it, adjoining childrens room was brilliantly equipped. (Bonus that our double room was separate so child could be in bed without being disturbed). The breakfast was really good and tasty, again lots of consideration to detail as my 3 year Granddaughter had her breakfast presented on Disney Princess plate, she was very impressed! Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating host. Can thoroughly recommend. We would happily stay here again.

Nothing not to like.

Excellent breakfast, the staff was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms had a unique fun quality which our children loved. The lication is great across the street from joyland and Britannia pier, so much to do and so close to everything

Double bed was too small for us, too short with a foot board. my 6'3 hubby ended up switching bed with my 3 year old. He slept in the bottom bunk instead! We didn't even mention to.staff we just arranged ourselves differently and it was fine.

From the moment we arrived we felt instantly welcome. The room was fantastic. Such a perfect view of the pier and sea. Location could not be more perfect! The room was bright and fresh. Bed extremely comfortable and i loved that the windows opened wide.. (hate air.con!).. The bathroom was super clean and had power shower.. Breakfast was a pre.order system which was no hassle. Cooked breakfast options.. The large fridge in the room was an added bonus!The host was very friendly and put us at ease.. Towels smelt mega fresh and the whole experience was lovely.. Thank you..

Everthing was great. Just maybe some alternative breakfast options for allergy's.. ( gluten free/almond milk etc)

A professional and warm greeting awaits you if you book Henry's on the Prom. We found it difficult to park in front of the hotel but parking close by was sorted for us for free for 24hours. The room had an excellent view of the Prom from the bay window. Security was excellent with a double key entry and security door bell. Breakfast is ordered the night before from a most extensive list (vegetarian option available) and for £5 more a double breakfast can be booked but I have no idea who could eat a double breakfast. The breakfast was attractively served with quality local produce including butches sausages. Cereals were available with fruit juices, plus jams, marmalade, marmite all available with the toast, tea/coffee option. Some people book for a few days and enjoy a great traditional holiday in Great Yarmouth which has donkey rides on the beach plus all the fun of the rides. I recommend the upside down house!

The location is central to the pier( but I thought it was part of Pub on the Prom) which is a short walk away. There was no fresh fruit but I feel the price would have to be increased if that was another option.
