Very comfortable bed and really clean rooms. Extremely quiet at night as very rural.

Non-existent check -in (no instructions) -had to check in at a busy bar, which closed straight after a golf function ended. NOWHERE to get food and nobody to recommend where to eat or drink. One golfing function guest told me that the travelodge nearby was serving food and had a bar!!! Wifi stopped working on second night and nobody around to ask why. Directions / postcode to the hotel lead you to a farm that is the other side of the Golf course

Nice location, and easy enough to find. The room was small but not in a bad way. It was a nice room to stay in that was clean, tidy and modern.

The noise!! I had an early start at 5:30 in the morning and was up until about 1AM because you could hear every sound from the stairwell above by the bar. When people walked down the stairs, you could just hear the loud pounding of feet on the ceiling. 1AM the room next door decided the wanted a shower which should be fine but my lord, the pipes scream when the water is turned on and the walls are so thing, it literally sounds like they’re using the shower in my room with the door open!

The room (21) was very clean and comfortable, I was there for work but took my golf clubs and had a round of golf one morning which was just the best, course is fantastic loved every minute, very nice breakfast afterwards also and will definitely return for both leisure and work again for sure. Staff were very friendly too.

Had to leave a day early due to another job not the hotels fault but was gutted as it was so nice. But there was nothing not to like.

The location for work in both Bristol and Chipping Sodbury was perfect, this is one of the reason i booked the hotel. Staff on the evening and in the morning were perfect, they could not help enough. If there was a slight downside, we stopped in rooms 9 and 10 and the person in room 11 snored, i could hear him late at night due to the walls being thin. Combination of 2 things, I'm a light sleeper and he was a loud snorer... This was not the fault of the hotel. The surrounding location was beautiful and the food in the bar was great (i recommend the steak) I will be stopping here again 100%

Only stayed one night. Fantastic location and a warm welcome from very friendly staff. The food was excellent. Definitely would recommend. No mobile signal but was able to use whatsapp on their wiFi so no problem.

My wife and I like things simple and straight forward with no fuss. Our room was clean, had a comfortable bed ,a tv and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom/wet room had the usual complimentary soaps etc. I really cant think of anything that could be improved. Certainly a place I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Location was suitable for our visit to Chipping Sodbury, we did not eat at the club house, it was very warm, but there were plenty fo fans to try to keep the room cool.

It was quite muddy - dry tufts of grass and mud, along with a tee found at the entrance, water in the bathroom and some dust. The door outside was difficult to open and close - quite stiff.

It's a silent location with absolutely no background noise, the hotel room was very modern and the wet room bathroom was definitely better than I expected. There was also a nice selection of tea, coffee and toiletries.

Due to Coronavirus restrictions there was no hot food after 17:00 which was communicated beforehand. I did have to venture out after checking in to get food which was around 15min drive away. The room I stayed in had both a double and single bed; I ended up sleeping on the single bed mattress as the double bed was a memory foam mattress and extremely firm. Although this may be good for others it wasn't comfortable for me.

Beautiful location. Lovely facilities with great views from the club house. Nice and relaxed in the evening. There was a party in one of the function rooms on the second night but nothing could be heard from my room which was not too far away (shame as I think it was a live band and they were really good!… I should have lingered outside).

The room was clean & staff were friendly. Such a good central location. Bar prices are good. The beds are comfy. Each time my daughter asked for a clean cup/milk she was served quickly & by helpful staff. Free parking is brilliant.

One of the beds had a waterproof mattress protector on it which was like sleeping on a carrier bag & made you sweaty! Would be great if there was a floor mop/squidgey for the wet room floor so that you don’t get wet feet

My car broke down and could not be fixed that evening. I was able to book into the players golf club just a few miles away. The staff on reception and in the bar were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and lunch were very good. I was able to work in the bar next day while waiting for the car to be fixed. Many thanks.

No concerns on this trip.
