Location was fantastic for Aylesbury theatre, just a 10 minute walk. Pub is beautiful, lovely outside seating area, food was delicious and freshly cooked. Room was lovely. Really liked the mini fridge. High end coffee bags and tea pigs available. Water in fridge and shampoo and shower gel provided. Car park was small but adequate. Really quiet and a fantastic nights sleep. Don't let the location between the Esso garage and the police station put you off, it does not detract from a fantastic stay. Will definitely book again. The staff are friendly but not intrusive...perfect! And for any nature enthusiasts, don't think I've ever seen so many buzzards circling the area!

The breakfast was great, just the egg was a bit greasy but the rest was fab thanks. The room (no 6) was amazing... !!!!

Quiet room with beautiful decor. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Extremely convenient for walking into town. Ample parking. Amazing bathroom with plenty of room.

Couple of extremely minor issues. Room wasn't ready on check-in time and had to wait an extra 30 minutes which is NOT the end of the world, but unfortunately we were on a tight time schedule and it made things a bit stressy for me. Also told breakfast was served at a certain time by one member of staff and a different time from another. Correct times were in the information folder in the room. No milk or milk powder for hot drinks but I didn't discover this until the early hours of the morning otherwise I would have asked the staff or popped across to the petrol station next door to get some milk. Like I say, extremely minor issues.

We picked this hotel as we were passing through and from the outside it looked standard. The room however was so amazing: a large bedroom with a large very comfy bed, and upstairs we had a large bathroom with a huge copper bath! Also airconditioning, and the breakfast in the morning was good!

the only thing I can think of is that the ceiling of the downstairs bedroom a bit low was (around 1.80m)? so I had to duck a bit to get around. But other than that this stay was amazing!

Fantastic room, exactly how it looked in the photos. We stayed in room 4, highly recommended. Landlady and her team were really friendly and welcoming. Our friends had a couple of issues with their room, but these were rapidly resolved and they were given a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill. Tasty breakfast. Great location for the Theatre.

Drinks served in Plastic cups, when those served before us were given glasses, as we're everyone else who was sat outside.

Beautiful room, bed was really comfortable, pillows were good quality. Nice stylish bathroom . Kettle with a nice selection of coffee, teas & biscuits. Mini fridge with fresh milk & bottled water. Staff were warm & welcoming.

Shower was in the bedroom at the end of the bed not in the bathroom. If i was younger i would probably of loved it, it was not for me. Im sure lots of people would love it. It was a lovely shower with stylish tiles & fluffy towels.

The bar staff were excellent made me feel welcome and showed interest in me as a person. Breakfast was lovely, not really into the black spot sausages (although everyone has different tastes, I know that.) The room was lovely, felt like I was at home. Had a meal in the evening minute steak (with garlic butter) salad leaves and lovely chips all with the tasty mozarella cheese and tomato salad (as an extra.) Was gorgeous! Have decided I will def. go back again, for a break away. Thank you Broad Leys and the bar staff, oh and not to forget the chef :)

Staff friendly and polite. Food was tasty and good value for money (with discount). Comfortable clean rooms.

Service was slow, staff seemed inexperienced/insufficient & food sometimes cool. No sitting/workarea in room. Our request to stay an additional night was referred by duty manager to general manager for confirmation. However, when checking in the morning the general manager was unaware of request & rooms were nolonger available. To make up for this the general manager did an exemplary job of finding us alternative equivalent accomodation.

The room was delightful and unusually had air conditioning which was brilliant as the UK was experiencing a heat wave. On arrival we were given a warm welcome, the room was well equiped with tea and coffee and a small fridge with fresh milk and bottled water.

We went down for breakfast a little before 9am which we knew was early and we were happy to wait. The coffee was cold and the waitress was less than efficient and had a bad attitude, she would benefit from customer service training or choosing another form of employment. When the breakfast arrived it was truly delicious. Another member of staff arrived who was happy to be there which was lovely.

Staff were very good, friendly and attentive. Room was very nice, staff gave us a choice of room and recommended room 4, it was lovely. beer garden was great with some music, but plenty of space to move to quiet areas if needed. Nice vibe.

we rang ahead as we were not going to arrive until 9.30pm to see if we could book a table for food but unfortunately the kitchen was shut. we were told on arrival that breakfast was at 9am (sat morning) but we needed to leave at 8.30 am so we missed that as well. A clear explanation was given for both of the above so i have no problem with it, but just be aware of this. Maybe an option of a pre packed breakfast for early leavers ?
