Very impressed with the town house, lovely room, loved the four post bed, had a quiet and peaceful sleep. Beautiful ornate room features. Lovely touch with the homemade cakes in the room, second day have an amazing rocky road cake, best we have ever tried! Breakfast was delicious, nice selection, Staff very attentive, friendly and chatty. Great location, right on the main high street of Arundel.

The bath was a little small and not really suitable for showering in. The building was on a huge slope, so parking was difficult, as we have to find somewhere outside the 1 hour parking zone and park on the steepest slopes Iv ever seen! Bed was a little small, nearly rolled off a few times!

The Family Suite is gorgeous – two good sized rooms and comfy single beds – perfect for 4 friends, which is a rare find. Chocolates on the beds, flapjacks and biscuits, all those nice touches. Lovely staff, bar on the ground floor (with an amazing ceiling), the Jailhouse music venue behind the hotel (but not open late enough to bother you), free, cooked breakfast and a perfect location in the centre of town.

The only thing they don't have is parking but we found some in the street 5-10 minutes walk away. You might have to pay a fiver in the car park by the river during the day, if it's busy, then move it in the evening to a free space without time limits.

Gorgeous property and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was spot on! Extremely comfortable room and a lovely deep bath and separate shower cubicle.

I have to be hard pressed to find something I didn’t like. An extractor in the bathroom perhaps or to be able to open the bathroom window? I’d maybe say that unless there have been problems in the past with guests, maybe asking the customer to pay the bill as they leave rather than in the first minute of arriving might be a tad more welcoming. Seriously though - I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I’m the area

The Townhouse is situated ideally small bang in the middle of Arundel, perfect for, well anything really you want to see or do in the area. Everything is within walking distance. Arundel Castle, the many boutique and niche shops, restaurants galore and slow meanders down the river. The accommodation is perfect and has all amenities necessary. The staff are super friendly and always helpful, and the service is spot on.

Limited tv channels, but who's watching anyway. Limited dinner availability, but that's an opportunity to experience the gastro outlets in the village from fish and chips to amazing Indian cuisine and beautiful Italian.

We had a lovely quiet and comfortable 2 night stay in the Town House. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the personal touches in the room such as the chocolates on the bed and jar of homemade flapjack. The cooked breakfast had a wide range of choices and everything we had was really tasty (particularly the eggs royale!) with very quick and attentive service. We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the bar one evening where there was a really nice atmosphere and a wide range of lovely cocktails.

Beautiful, quirky, spacious room, lovely bathroom with walk-in shower and roll top bath.Gorgeous decor with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful with cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit as well as an extensive cooked menu.

Parking is tricky, (this just a feature of Arundel, not hotel) actual premises not open until 2pm, so could not drop bags early. There is hour parking right outside to unload and reload, but not guaranteed. Overnight parking is in town at a fee (not expensive though £7 per day) then a short, but steep, walk back to hotel.

Lovely spacious room, friendly relaxed staff and really tasty breakfast. We stayed during a cold snap, and I was a little worried how warm the room would be as it is a Grade 2 listed building with old style windows, but the room was warm and cosy for the duration of our stay. The lounge bar has a splendid ceiling, with a great selection of drinks and my wife took full advantage of the 2-4-1 prosecco deal! Breakfast range is great with continental and hot food offered. I had the full English on both days, and my wife had eggs Benedict and poached egg on toast on respective days. Couldn't fault it and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Overall a great relaxing couple of days in a lovely setting and couldn't fault it.

great position, really comfy bed, lovely staff, great breakfast - stayed in Bay - lovely big room!! amazing views of the castle from our balcony. bustling little town, enjoyed the farmers market (3rd Saturday of the month) lots of lovely restaurants, pubs and cafes - spoilt for choice. lovely bar under our room for pre-evening drinkies! thank you - we will return!

it actually got really cold the weekend we were there and the radiators weren’t on at all - we had to use the oil heater in the room to try and warm up. to be fair we didn’t talk to the staff about it but it was late on our last night so didn’t want to make a fuss - only reason I gave 9 out 10 and not 10. luckily we found a nice blanket along with extra pillows in the chest at the end of the bed 😊

The Town House is centrally located so giving perfect access to the many attractions in the historic town of Arundel. The room was cosily comfortable with the usual complimentary facilities (teas, coffees, biscuits, tolietries) plus clean good quality linen and towels. They offered a full English breakfast served exactly as requested by friendly staff who also provided great information of the town's amenities. There is a good selection of nearby restaurants, pubs and tea shops plus a wide variety of interesting independent shops (arts, crafts & antiques).

The deep bath was a little awkward to get into and out of for an older person.

The Townhouse is a lovely Regency building in the centre of Arundel and with great views over the castle, rooftops and countryside; the ceiling in the small entrance/bar area is breathtaking. I would say it is more of a guest house than a hotel, but that is not meant to take anything away from its lovely ambience. We had the suite of rooms on the top floor. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom; all of the beds were very comfortable and we didn't experience any undue noise from the street below during the night or the following morning, which was a Sunday. Breakfast was very nice and served in the small lounge area - the one with the beautiful ceiling! The staff were helpful and friendly.
