The Bayview Hotel Pattaya

I loved the ambience and cleanliness of the hotel. Absolutely 5 star amenities with top notch service.The location is very good. On one side Beach and walking street is in walking distance. On the other side you can access the main city. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and the area around it is beautiful.

Breakfast needs improvement. They serve Indian menu for the main dish in breakfast which is not enjoyable always. Apart from that the coffee and egg station is good. Also the old building doesn't have elevator and stairs are pretty steep.

The location is perfect. The rooms are satisfactory, and the breakfast is good especially their bacon. Thumbs up to the always friendly bell boys and in particular the security guard who manned the lifts, he always made an effort to hi five my 9 year old son which always brought a smile to my family.

We were not advised when booking the hotel that half of the main pool would be closed off for renovations which was disappointing for my son. Also I found the reception staff to look unhappy which is disappointing as this is the first impressions you get when arriving to the hotel. The other thing was when you book the right number of adults and child in, you are still required to pay extra for your child for breakfast and the bed per night, this should already be included in the price and not requested to pay extra at check in, it is not a nice feeling and should be reviewed. Otherwise we were happy with everything else especially the location.

Great location, nice breakfast with good vegetarian options, nice kids pool, good deep pool (2.30 meters) for a great swim. Little Koi pond (kids loved this).

Sharp edges on the pool sides, missing tiles on the floor (cut open my foot). Noisy rooms, somewhat dated design, hard beds, weird light switches and tiny balcony.

The location is great, just next to Central Plaza, and the Pattaya Beach. Very nice room, even though it has some years on its neck, it was nice and comfortable, good bed and divan sofa by the window. Nice and beautiful decorated room, with Mediterranean decor on the wall. And, offcourse great Seaview from this room on 5th floor. Small but still nice bathroom with good pressure in the shower, and a small window to open, wich means you can have a shower with Seaview 😎. Big swimming pool on ground floor, and an impressive lobby with very friendly staff.

1. Lift. 2. Electrical system in the room - master switch off meant I couldn't charge things through the night. 3. Curtain didn't completely keep the light out when fully closed. 4. No staff to help with bags on arrival or service to help with bags to the room and introduction to systems in the room, and not much welcome from the front desk.

The hotel was in a very good location. The night bazar market was in front of the hotel, and the Central festival mall was few steps away. We even walked to the Terminal 21 from the hotel (20 minutes). There was a small path in the back of the hotel that led right into the beach with plenty of shops, restaurants, massage parlors, etc.. Even the hotel was in a main street but you wouldn't hear any noise from the street since all the rooms were all the way to the back. There was a small swimming pool (not heated) and an indoor/outdoor restaurant. Lobby was spacious, clean with many areas to relax. Breakfast were very tasty with many choices, including a separated egg station and noodle (only weekend) outside. Restaurant staff cleaned up tables quickly. Our room was spacious and had a city view. The beds were very comfortable. There was a small mini bar in the room to purchase. Bathroom was not big but not small either. The best thing about the bathroom was there was an electrical outlet with dual voltages, so no matter where you are from, you can plug your bathroom devices in there. This was the first time I saw a hotel in Thailand with this set up. Staff were very polite and helpful, especially Fur. They always greeted us when we met. We had a nice stay here. We loved the location and the friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel when you are in Pattaya.

The hotel is excellent, very nice looking and great for children. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The breakfast is 10/10 lots of food to choose from and plenty of seating. The pools are good especially the kids pool. The location is excellent, it’s literally in the centre of pattaya and across the road from the beach. Loads of parking spaces too. The rooms are great, good sized and have very large comfortable beds.

They were upgrading the outside the edge of main pool so there was a sign up saying half the pool was closed for 2 weeks and then when we came back a couple of weeks later there was a new sign and the other half of the pool was then closed for another 2 weeks. It took at least month just to do round the outside edge of the pool. 2 weeks isn’t too bad but a month is pretty long to have the main pool closed and noise disturbance down at the pool. Hopefully it’s finished now.

The stay here was great! The staff was very friendly and nice, they always answered all my questions with a smile. No complaints about my stay here. The room was very clean as well as the rest of the facilities. I was upgraded to a better room free of charge! They upgraded me to an ocean view room which was awesome. The room included a safe and bath robe, and all kinds of toiletries like toothbrush, soap, hand soap, shampoo, etc. The hotel is well located in Pattaya. A walking distance to nightlife areas, Central Festival mall, gym, laundry place, restaurants, and Beach road. Would definitely stay here again. I had an excellent experience.

The restaurant at the hotel was very convenient but the food didn't taste that good to me. The prices were ok for a hotel's restaurant, but not cheap.

This is my second visit to this hotel. Satisfied with everything: the quality of the rooms, the cleaning, the quality of the breakfast, the pools with a relaxation area around them. On this visit, the speed of the Internet was significantly higher than in the New Year period. Nearby there is everything you might need, everything is within walking distance. What is very important, all entertainment establishments are located close, but the noise from them does not reach the hotel and you can sleep well and peacefully.

The gym in the hotel is poorly equipped. The issue needs to be refined a little: increase the dumbbell row, purchase 1-2 sports stations, it will not be expensive. The good thing about the gym is that it has air conditioning. The elevators are still not well adjusted. Slow like turtles.

Staff were excellent throughout the hotel. We had a City view room on the 8th floor of the main building and it was a good sized room with no noise pollution. Great location between 2nd Road and Beach road and on the bhat bus route. Breakfast was okay, not the best but not the worst.

Drinks by the pool were very expensive even for a couple of cokes. I don't know why hotels do this but just tell me the price of a drink etc. Please don't show a price and then when you get the bill it's a lot more because you've added service charge and taxes! Just show the FULL price on the menu because that's what I'm going to pay.
