Golden Tulip Pattaya Beach Resort

We recently enjoyed a relaxing stay at this Pattaya beachfront hotel. The beach and comfortable loungers provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The staff were friendly, and the convenience of having shops, food stalls, and restaurants within walking distance was a definite plus.

It would be beneficial for the hotel to consider updating and upgrading their furniture in the lobby as the current furnishings do not match the hotel's overall ambiance. On a positive note, the pool provided a pleasant evening swim, but it's essential that the hotel installs pool lights to prevent accidents, as I experienced a minor injury due to the pool's rough surface. Furthermore despite two phone calls, the room service failed to collect our used plates from the restaurant for two days, which was disappointing. Additionally, the cleaning service should pay more attention to removing hair from the floor

private beach needs attention every day. I picked up at least 2 hand full of broken glass every day of the 8 days I stayed. it was mentioned to staff that a old man could not walk down to the water because of broken shells and glass. it was cleaned then but not after that day. it’s a tiny beach and it would only take 1 hour for 1 staff to do every day. not the hotels fault what’s gets wash up on there beach but it can be cleaned up

The room, location, and breakfast were amazing with friendly staff.

They thought starting heavy maintenance work with extremely noisy machinery at 00.30am on the roof was a good idea!! We had to call the reception 3 times to have them finally stop at 1am. This was shocking, and I don't understand how anyone could have thought to start noisy maintenance work at these kind of times in the middle of the night. That is the reason I can't give a rating of 10.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Especially the corner units. Good breakfast choice. Thai and western. The egg station had a very wide choice - you submitted a ticket and it delivered to your table Quiet and peaceful with a lovely beach and beach bar area that was private. Great views of the sanctuary of truth. Incredibly clean rooms

As other reviews mentioned the restaurant doesn’t have all items. I couldn’t order any pizza. Some rooms listed as sea view should be partial sea view. I was upgraded because the room I booked wasn’t available. I heard other guests being told their room configuration wasn’t valuable

Value for money is good. Staff is nice. We were travelling with a family of three which means the choice of hotels is limited if you want one room. This hotel met our expectations. The room is really large, has contemporary design and is well appointed. The pool is nice, there is a beach bar and a small stretch of semi private beach. Be aware that the hotel is located in Naklua, not Pattaya as such. If you want to visit Pattaya it is recommended to have a car. There are 2 separate hotel buildings. We stayed in building 2, nearer to the beach. The stretch of beach the hotel is located at is called Wongamat. You can walk from the 'Sanctuary of Truth' temple in the north all the way to Pattaya North (Nua, until Dusit Thani hotel) if you like. And if you like to swim, the water of Wongamat is cleaner than that of Pattaya Bay as wel (but still not clean).

Our room wasn't cleaned well. We found many hairs on the floor and in the shower and bathroom. The hotel offers parking in a separate building and it is really difficult to park there (New York style multi level automated storage). Needs some practise I guess. What we also noticed that the two different cooks weren't able to boil or cook an egg. Easy over, hard over, just hard boiled or poached, all of them were runny. I'll get over it, but it is kind of strange. Room service is supposed to be available until 10:30 but actually doesn't take orders after 20:00.

There is a private beach with a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is good and variety enough. There is no space for parking in the hotel so we need to park our car in another place. But it's okay because there is a driver that always facilitates us from the hotel to the parking 24 hrs.

Check-in time was 2 pm. even though we arrived around 3.30 pm. the reception said our room was not ready which made us need to wait for 30 minutes but it's okay because they upgraded the room for us. The wifi in our room wasn't work on that day and it was not fix properly.

Nice spacious room, very comfortable bed. beautiful swimming pool and private beach with nice cocktails ( you can also swim there). quiet location, exactly what we were after. convenience store and massage places just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. as well as tasty street food places and restaurants.

wi fi was super unreliable. also had an incident on our last night there. we chose this hotel for its quiet location and it seemed to be classy and family friendly. on our last night though there were at least 3 rooms on our floor occupied with Indian men tourists who brought back their "dates" and were acting loud and banging doors all night long. Also they had some misunderstanding about the payment terms... so loud yelling was going on and police mentioned. wasn't expecting this in a hotel that seems to cater for families and is otherwise pretty mellow in a nice location.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before and this time was the best one so far. The reason we come back : - spacious, clean and modern rooms - beachfront with a private beach - somehow feels pretty, especially with Smores on the beach - two restaurants/cafe on site (although Opio can be a slow service) - all rooms have a nice big balcony, the corner rooms have a long one - satisfactory breakfast buffet - shuttle to terminal 21 - close to convenience stores and some local food/massages The service from the staff has also improved which made a big difference in how we felt welcomed/listened to/cared for.

- the granite of the pool is quite sharp - shuttle to T21 only runs 3 times a day, would be great if there were more trips - when the hotel is busy, you can really feel it, especially on a long weekend. But on weekdays/random weekends the quietness is enjoyable

The whole hotel was very clean, most of the staff were very helpful.

The garden view from the balcony wasn't exactly a garden view, it was an overgrown surrounding, nothing great to look at, never used the balcony.
