lovely authentic property, fairly small, nice location on beach

we stayed in one of the garden lodges, very nice, but the room could have been cleaner, the bathroom was not clean, toilet was not great, there was urine all around the toilet seat hinges that smelled bad and just outside of the room you could smell urine each time you entered and left the room

Excellent location and very friendly / helpful staff. Breakfast was nice. Lots of space to sunbathe - beach, beside the pool and just above the pool. Beach towels provided and there was a hut on the beach ( I believe hotel owned). When I forgot, I was just given one to use which was nice. My mate and I both had a very nice little meal one evening, sitting just outside the breakfast room.

My bed was made of 2 beds pushed together - large but with a ridge up the middle. Mattress was rather thin and hard for my old bones. The rooms haven't changed since my stay pre C19 and could do with a little updating now.

The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The position was right on the beach, which was sandy and very good for swimming, having no rocks in the sea. Breakfast was really nice with a choice of cereal, fruit, croissants, and juices. There were several options of a cooked breakfast, including European and Asian. I had omelette every day because it was cooked to perfection. The resort was near to a huge shopping outlet and market.

The only thing I can mention was that the mattress was too hard for me. It might be fine for anyone else. I asked if I could have a mattress topper, and this was done.

We loved the location as its on the beach and very short walk to the Market Village shopping centre. The room we chose was the premier with a sea view from the small balcony. Good size fridge, air-conditioning worked well, breakfast was good. Stayed 10 nights and would recommend this resort. Op from the front desk was very helpfull with making a few ph calls for us.

The dining room had full sun in the mornings with no air-conditioning turned on and NO fans anywhere. Because the windows are open all the time it was very hot

Location is brilliant on the beach. Close to everything and a short trip to night market and walking street, and Market Village. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Loved the cats.

Bed a bit hard and need fans in breakfast Cafe as gets hot in the morning sun. Service is a bit slow sometimes in restaurant.

We stayed in a garden villa and 2 studios. The rooms were clean and functional. The garden is serene. The property is on the beach, so access to the it is never an issue. The staff is generally polite and helpful.

The breakfast has limited options for vegetarian and halal. The restaurant staff barely speak English,so trying to request specific requirements was difficult, so we just had eggs and bread through the 4 breakfasts. Another point is the only have coffee from the Nescafé machine. I bought cappuccinos from the stall next door.

the location of the property is excellent with it having direct access to Hua-Hin beach. The restaurant over looks the beach wear you can have a drink and people watch.

The only negative we had was the shower in our Garden Bungalow! The water pressure would pulse meaning the water heater for the hot water would cut in and out. Most annoying, one thing we do expect is a good shower in our accommodation. Brought it the the attention of the staff who told us this was normal! Not what we’d expect.

This is our third stay at the Veranda Lodge, we love that it is on the beach, but also has a lovely pool area. It’s like a family hotel, with birds, cats and a dog. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. It is a short walk to Market Village which is a great shopping complex with a food hall and lots of restaurants. Great shopping too. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hua Hin.

We have always enjoyed the Happy Hour which wasn’t on this time, but we understand that it was off season and just after Covid.

It’s lovely with big rooms .. breakfast is fine .. the location is wonderful.. one side is the beach and just outside the market village on the other side.. the food was really amazing at the restaurant.. pool was nice too .. The staff is exceptionally helpful and lovely .. I extended my stay just to enjoy everything at the property…

Nothing really except if there was an induction or a stove it’s easy when you travel with kids to prepare one meal of their choice…

Location is perfect for beach as well as easy walks along the beach and into the main town area, gorgeous sunsets, clean beach, easy listening music, comfy seating on the deck, quiet spot for relaxing. Plentiful breakfast. Veranda Lodge is rustic so bring a positive attitude to enjoy it.

A smile and friendly greeting from staff would work wonders, and a topper on the bed would make it comfortable as it was very (too) firm.
