The Old City Wall Inn

This is a very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and an easy, accessible location to all the major sites. The staff are extremely responsive and helpful and do everything they can to make your stay wonderful! There is a great Thai restaurant just a minute walking distance from the hotel ( and I don't use the word "great" lightly - it has the #1 ranked curry in Chiang Mai on its menu! ) plus some good convenience stores all within the block. Room has a balcony, lots of natural light and a number of amenities.

Shower temperature could be warmer but that's a subjective judgement as I like a hot one - temp is probably fine for everyone else! Had some initial issues with WiFi but owner was able to address very efficiently.

The staff were amazing and so friendly. The room was huge and well equipped - there were slippers, a hair dryer, fresh water every day and some snacks. A lovely room in a great location to see the city, explore the night markets and in close proximity to a number of lovely cafes.

The bed was uncomfy and the road noise was a little loud - however this did not detract from my stay.

The room was large and super clean. The bed was very comfortable and the staff most welcoming.

We were there for 8 days so the breakfasts became a bit repetitive. Also, although we requested no pork / bacon, they still put this on our plates. They obviously didn't understand our written and verbal request. We found this quirky and not a problem.

The hotel was great! The rooms are big, clean and the smell is amazing We booked with the staff all the activities and they helped us with every request :) The staff are really nice people and they did an amazing job hosting us. The hotel is in great location and the price is affordable, and we recommend everyone to stay here when they come to Chiang mai!

Perfect hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to all main attractions, yet the hotel is situated on a quiet road itself. Rooms were clean, modern & spacious.

The shower needs to be postioned higher on the wall. It was so low down, and this made showering difficult.

The rooms are big and comfortable. Close to the Bazar and the city wall. The recepcionist is very nice, our taxi for the day got cancelled and he got us another one to go to the Natural Park during the whole day within 10 minutes. The room has complementary coffee and snacks.

The A.C. and the fridge are noisy. To much light coming in at night.

Great location. Take a walk outside to city centre, in just 5 mins. Room was big, all facilities were provided , staff was nice, restaurants were nearby , massage place and 7/11.

Not a big issue , but we were on 2 nd floor and there was no lift to go up. It was okay, coz they had lift for the luggage.

Friendly staff that go above and beyond to help with any requests. Nice big clean room and free snacks.

Didn't try the breakfast but location is ideal and place is well kept and clean but kind of old... Like the staff helpfulness and freindly.

The bed quality seems old and not so comfortable,, generally ok.

Beautiful rooms and lobby, kind and friendly staff. To add they let us hold our luggage as we arrived early, helped us as we left a charger plug in the room. can’t recommend enough! thank you for an amazing stay!
