Mai Khaolak Beach Resort & Spa - TUIBLUE Mai Khaolak

The easy walk to a beautiful beach and several restaurants. We were a family group of 13, from a 70 year old to a 2 year old, and it suited all ages. The local restaurants just outside the resort catered for children, with children’s meals and toys to play with. The resort had several pools which suited all ages. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food, including a children’s table.

It was a little isolated, but having said that there was a free shuttle bus to town on the hour, or a tuk tuk for 400TB for the 12 of us!

I liked that they had variety of food to choose from for breakfast. I didn't mind the location even though it was 1.5hours drive from the airport, definitely worth it. Also, I appreciate that the resort provides free mini bus ride to the local markets, even though I was one passenger they still drove me to the markets regardless.

On check out I found out that one of the customer's had found a small sneak in their room. I'm just lucky I didn't experience that. Otherwise, overall I was happy with my stay. Definitely relaxing gateway place from big city, noise and all.

The beach swimming pool and breakfast

The beach front restaurant staff were unhelpful and the room could of done with a deep clean we understand that it's a quick turn around but maybe having some where they have the time to clean properly ours had what we think was tomato ketchup? Over the walls and a sink which the plug was broken but with the plug they were there to fix very quickly but if they had more time they would of seen this.

The size of the rooms are above average. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were above and beyond. The little things worked so well e.g. a buggy services from room to any part of the hotel

they either need to 2nd bar or the pool bar needs to open a little later

very clean rooms, very comfortable beds, very spacious room always filled with sufficient supply of water bottles. staffs are super friendly, nice and helpful. superb service

the location is a little too far from shops. it’s located in a very quiet area.

The staff are amazing here couldnt do enough for you me and my family really enjoyed our stay we traveled with three young children and the service here was exceptional

Beautiful location with excellent facilities and the staff were very helpful. Extra little touches when you check in made it really special.

Some of the restaurants where quite.pricy compared to the restaurants along the beach.

Facilities were excellent, resort is beautiful and staff were amazing

Pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable, bath/shower is poorly designed and not all facilities were open
